Combining tradition and modernity, this chalet of 200 m2 enjoys an exceptional location at the end of the hamlet for you to enjoy its Savoyard atmosphere, its garden and a clear view over 180 degrees on the valley of Méribel North and the summits of the resort to the south. You can enjoy the pristine nature and meadows (sledge, games ...) just in front of the chalet and an exceptional ski area.

Full of charm with its interior in old wood plunging you into the Savoy of yesteryear and its external facades stone character, the chalet Varendel offers you its modern equipment, its 6 very comfortable rooms and its large central fireplace which in make the ideal place for relaxing or sporting holidays.

Its privileged situation makes it possible to leave skiing by putting in front of the chalet, and to return skis by feet by the track of the Raffort. The chalet is located less than 200 m from the gondola of Olympus and stop regular free shuttles to the village and the resort. It also has 2 private parking spaces in front of the chalet.

Lovely quirky chalet in a splendid backdrop of valley and mountains

Everything went smoothly and Meribel really is at the heart of the 3 Vallees. We loved the open fire, the assistance with housework and the helpful host. A really great well-equipped kitchen- just the usual blunt knife problem but that’s really the only gripe. Altogether a great place for both skiers and non-skiers to stay.

Beauty Week in Raffort

7 friends stayed here. Gondola at door for ride up into Meribel to start day. Ski down the Raffort trail at end of day to get home. Lots of rooms in chalet. Loved the sauna. Fireplace rocked all week. Eloise came to clean/take garbage twice.Easy communication with owner. Stocked kitchen. Good to have a car for groceries. 2 parking spots!10/10 experience

Wonderful chalet

The chalet is absolutely beautiful - it has so much charm and felt very authentic with lots of wonderful little details. As well as being beautiful, it was very comfortable and we had everything we needed. The central room with the kitchen was fantastic and the rooms were all attractive with plenty of space for hanging clothes etc. You would want a car as although it is ski-in, ski-out, it was really nice to be able to pop to the shops for food supplies in the week. Thank you.
