Well equipped apartment with a fantastic shower, dishwasher, washing machine with dryer, oven, microwave, good quality cutlery etc. Two downsides were: a) the size of the apartment, and b) the top bunk. The size is really small. The pictures are very well taken so the apartment looks reasonably sized. But the one bedroom is literally a hole in the wall with a mattress that goes wall to wall. The bunk bed is immediately as you enter the apartment. The top bunk is very high with no guard rail. My children are nearly adults but not one of us felt confident to stay on the top bunk so we brought the mattress down to the living room and one person slept there - making a small apartment very very small. Perhaps ask for a floor plan before you book. But the host is very helpful on messages and the location is pretty good for skiing. And it is very well equipped.

Thanks also for your feedback on the bunks. They are a standard single bed size but I appreciate that the top bunk is not suited to an adult. That said, I have slept there myself! Hello from Canada1 I am an Australian living in Canada with my family. We love everything about the mountains and are fortunate to be able to visit them here and in Meribel!

Why they chose this property

La Frasse is a fantastic building with easy access to the mountain and Meribel Village. In the winter the Meribus takes us to the village in a short trip, or a 10 minute walk equally delivers us to our favourite pizza place. We can then return to our quiet space, away from the bustle and noise of the village, to recuperate for the next day on the mountain!

What makes this property unique

Our property is a cozy getaway, always warm and welcoming and easy to come home to. It is compact, but offers us all the amenity of a larger space and plenty of kitchen to enjoy our love of cooking and dining.
We especially enjoy having a small space with a bed that does not need to be put away, as so many do at this size. It makes a huge difference at the end of the day when one wants to rest and another to watch tv or wind down with a glass of wine.
