We enjoyed our stay. You should be aware that you will need to carry your luggage up 3 flights that are quite challenging at times. Very close to train station… you can walk to it. Also quite close to shopping and restaurants of old town and Marina.

The apartment is in a great location, close to the old town and wharf, good restaurants and bars. The kitchen has what we needed to make beakfasts. The rooftop deck was perfect for a late night glass of wine. Just be aware the stairs can be a little challenging if you have heavy luggage since it is on the top floor.

Spacious and Funky Apartment

Great location with easy walking to everything. Apartment was large bright and fully equipped. Would definitely recommend staying there to anyone who can do stairs

Great place

Perfect location near a couple of the finest restaurants, near train and bus stations. Short walk to tourist locations and restaurants. The stairs were a bit hard for an oldster like me but my daughter had no issues. Will stay again.

Lovely apartment

We loved the apartment. Very clean, very comfortable couches and beds. Nice big balcony overlooking the city plus the river in the view. Great area for walking anywhere, plus just a couple blocks from the Train.

Comfortable apartment close to public transport

The apartment is a short walk from the railway and bus stations, and not much further is central Faro and the harbour.It has a lovely large balcony which we could not use unfortunately because of the poor weather when we were there

Four night stay

We stayed for four nights at this location and it worked fine for us. It's close to the central district with numerous restaurants available. We were always able to find a parking spot. We were able to wash our clothes and hang them out to dry. Some people might object to it being on the third floor but when we go to Europe, we're used to climbing stairs.

This property was in a great location , very clean with enough stock for a short stay. We were a family of 5 and it fit our needs. We didn't cook and only there for a short stay. Close to restaurants and airport. Just be aware , there are lots of stairs as its top floor and no lift , but we would stay again

Happiness

Our experience in Lisbon was not very positive. When we arrived in Faro and we entered the home, our outlook dramatically changed. We were able to spread out, but also had a chance to sit at the kitchen table together and have some laughs and time together. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Faro Fabulous

This place allowed us to appreciate the culture of old Faro. We could walk to the Faro Islands ferry terminal, see old town, access multiple street cafes and oceanfront restaurants on foot, use a washing machine and hang our clothes out the back window on a built in clothes line, and enjoy the sun and view off the upstairs balcony. There were 6 of us (3 couples) and we were very comfortable. The place was clean, and had an amazing cross breeze because it was on the 3rd floor. AC works well, but not necessary most of the time. We all loved it!

Our Visit to Faro

Faro was the third and final stop on our visit to Portugal. Our host Ivan has made the check in process easy. There were two surprises on arrival; the large number of stairs and one of the bathrooms being on a different floor than the bedroom. Other than these surprises the property was clean and the view was spectacular. This property was in a great location and made it easy for our team to explore the Algarve coast with the train station in walking distance. Thanks to Ivan for being a good host. Archie and team

Terrible experience

My husband and I, couldn’t check in until 2hrs past checking time. Once we found the correct apartment we had a hard time opening the door because the cleaning lady had her key inside the latch. Once she let us in, we were welcome with smell of cigarettes. The carpet in the living room was not clean, I guess she didn’t get enough time to clean the whole apartment. I have booked with VRBO quite often and never had an unpleasant experience like this one. This apartment was my third booking with VRBO, in the past week . How ever, it was the first worst experience out of all my entire bookings.

1. You couldn´t check in on time couse you didn´t read and you didn´t answer to any of my messages. I´ve had very unpleasent conversation with all my neighbours couse you try to get into their apartments. You didnt pay attention neither floor neither number of the apartment in my message and you try to get in, door by door. It was total confusion in the building entrance. Your review is malicious as you were denied later check out (we had new guests coming and you thought you had right to stay longer as you had later check in). The cleaning lady was there to take the baby cot that we need for another apartment. Cleanliness is our top priority and smoking is forbidden. Fortunately and I don´t doub t that the future guests will give you the best answer.

Convenient location very close to the train station and water. The outdoor deck was wonderful to sit on. It was a full 3 flights of stairs to the apartment and an additional flight of stairs to the bedrooms on the second floor. The washing machine was appreciated. Communications with the host were clear and prompt.
