This condo features a Top Floor balcony with stunning views of the Gulf of Mexico! With a king in the master bedroom, an enclosed twin bunk room in the hallway, and a cozy sleeper in the living area, this lovely condo sleeps up to 6 guests. Take a short stroll right across the street to the beach, relax on your top floor balcony, or check out some of the amenities and attractions at Gulf Place. Situated in the heart of Gulf Place: a convenient coastal community in Santa Rosa that features 3 pools (two seasonally heated), hot tubs, tennis courts, shuffle boards, BBQ grilling areas, large outdoor amphitheater, walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, boutiques, and BEACH access directly across the street! A few steps away you will find an abundance of  shops and dining options at Gulf Place. In addition to great food and drinks, Gulf Place Town Center offers lots of live music and table-side fire pits on cooler nights. The Gulf Place Cabanas building is in the middle of it all! The Gulf Place community is located along a 26-mile stretch of sugar-white sand and turquoise waters of Northwest Florida’s celebrated Emerald Coast. As one of the 16 distinct beach neighborhoods in South Walton, it has its own distinct character and charm. This colorful community on 30A is comprised of 25 acres located in the heart of Santa Rosa Beach on the corner of 30A and 393. Gulf Place was specifically designed to slow visitors and locals down with palm tree-lined streets, wide sidewalks, colorful outdoor patios with large umbrellas, nature walking trails, green spaces and ample park benches to sit and enjoy the views.  Gulf Place is unique from all the other South Walton neighborhoods.  Residents and guests gather here to enjoy original art, boutique shopping, local cuisine, live music and a laid back atmosphere.

The snorkelers in your group will love the new artificial reef called Seahorse Reef, deployed in 2017. Located just 715 feet out from the Topsail Hill Preserve State Park access, it is becoming a haven for sea life. Each of the 4 snorkeling reefs comprises 40 acres of permitted sea bottom. The Seahorse Reef is at a depth of 13-18 feet. We strongly recommend that snorkelers use a kayak, paddleboard, or other flotation device when visiting the snorkel reefs. Sea conditions can and do change quickly and often. Enjoy!

We loved the property location and the size of the balcony and view were great. We were also glad its was on the top floor because we could hear some of the neighbors below us, we couldn’t imagine how bad the noise would be if we were not on the top floor. The furniture could be a little better quality and be refreshed, it was definitely low end “rental” furniture. Overall a great value to be on 30a.

Great location. Needs a deep cleaning and maintenance.

I spent 3 days during spring break with my three daughters (11, 9, 4) at this unit. We arrived at check-in time and walked into a musky-smelling unit that was clearly not cleaned with any attention to detail. There was a clump of lint on the master bed, the main bathroom's shower fixtures were covered in scale, the shower curtain was stained pink with mildew, the bathroom rug had dirt on it (has it ever been washed?), there was gunk on the ladder of the bunk beds, visible dirt on the kitchen table, and red/stickiness on two of the six dining chairs. My oldest and I spent 30 minutes just wiping down surfaces so we could be comfortable. The unit also had several maintenance issues that we called attention to, including broken handles on the microwave and sliding glass door. The shower head was also not functioning properly, so you had to stand up against the wall to get any water. I'm not one to complain, and I'm a pro at camping/roughing it. But walking into someone else's dirt was disgusting. I texted the property managers, who responded right away, offering to have the cleaning crew arrive the next day ( I declined... my daughter and I cleaned instead) They also sent a maintenance person over to look over the broken handles. Everyone from RealJoy was kind and empathetic. I understand they manage several properties and that the week we arrived was a busy one for Spring Breakers. But I highly suggest taking this off VRBO, giving it attention, and then relisting.

Family vacation at Gulf Place

We had a wonderful time at the Cabanas at Gulf Place. The location cannot be beat! My husband, me, and our two kids fit comfortably in this unit. We were tight on space to put our luggage but got creative with using the closet and top bunk for storage. The unit could use fresh paint and linens as a simple freshen up. The view made this unit perfect! Biggest downfall (as shared with the property mgrs) was construction outside our door. We were notified the day we arrived and made nap time for the kids tricky.

Great location

This unit is in a great location if walking to things is what you like. We loved we could walk to Shunk Gulley or other restaurants and not have to get in traffic. Overall the unit was nice, the door was almost impossible to open at check in and we called for a long while with no response from maintenance. The unit is stocked with everything you could need. It was nice but could use a good thorough cleaning of the couch and rugs. The front bedroom is very bright at night due to the hallway light and was hard for us to sleep at night. We would suggest darkening curtains.

Great location but property needs attention

The location is great with beach access directly across the street. However, we were less than pleased with the cleanliness of this property upon check-in. We found dirty sheets, a dirty bathroom, and a dirty kitchen upon our arrival. RealJoy sent someone out quickly to review the status of the condo but clearly, this was not how we want to start our vacation. The cleaning company was not available to come out until the next morning to address the issues so we had to stay in a dirty condo overnight. The condo is located on the 4th floor and has spectacular views from the balcony but the sliding glass door needs to be fixed. It was not easy to slide open/close as it should be. It took the strength of using both upper arms to pull open/close. We notified RealJoy but this was not fixed during our stay. The condo also says it sleeps 6 people but that is a stretch if you’re a group of adults. There is only one shower that everyone has to share, walls are thin. The bunk room is small, dark, and very awkward. It is best suited for children. Lastly, for goodness sake replace the refrigerator. If you look at reviews this has been a common complaint for years. Yes, it works, although the bottom door does get stuck. Overall the fridge shows signs of age and dirt which is not what you want to store your food inside. The property manager was responsive but given the opportunity again we would not choose this property for all the reasons mentioned above. If you’re a small family with children this may be a good fit for you.

Condo was clean with nice furniture. Location was great—in the middle of everything. No problems finding a parking space. Really enjoyed our 4th floor balcony view of the ocean. Checkin was so easy with the electronic code.

Gulf Place cabanas #410 is an excellent location. Great water view from the deck and easy walk to the beach and shopping areas. A great choice for a couple or family with 2 kids. We would use this one again with no reservations.

Enjoyed the ocean view on patio, full-size fridge with ice maker and beach chairs. Would’ve liked to had a guaranteed parking place. Gulf Place hosts events and takes the parking for the units. Overall Enjoyed location close to Easy drive to seaside, Panama City & Sandestin/Destin for any entertainment needed.
