It’s love at first sight when you enter into La Casa Folé, a spectacular four-bedroom home with enough space to accommodate 15 guests. Take the steps up to the front door to enter and find that three of the four bedrooms are located on the first floor, in addition to a bonus room with sleeper sofas. On the second floor, rich hardwood floors and bright blue walls accent a wide-open living room floor plan, while floor-to-ceiling glass windows allow the natural beauty of the Gulf to pour into the room. The kitchen comes equipped with a full range of stainless steel appliances including a built-in KitchenAid fridge. Custom mahogany cabinets surround dual Thermador ovens, perfect for those large family meals. Enjoy breakfast at the nook while you watch the waves crash onto the shore. This table even doubles as a card table that’s perfect for game night.

Also on the second floor is the primary bedroom. Luxuriate in the ensuite bathroom, as it comes with a double granite vanity, and clawfoot bathtub. Step out onto the balcony, accessible from the primary bedroom, and take in the sound of the waves day or night.

Great location with great open spaces and clean comfortable. It is a funky layout and not optimal for some families. Three bedrooms are on the ground level with only 1 bathroom which is also the laundry room and access to backyard and pool. The primary bedroom had a bathroom with a small tub and the water was only warm. Third bathroom with shower is in main area next to kitchen. For privacy reasons the layout would not be optimal for multiple family members that require privacy. Advise future guests to really understand the layout prior to making reservation.

wonderful house... beautiful pool... nice view of water... quiet street... We stayed the last week of August. First couple of days the pool was warm but the last part of the week, we could've used the heated pool option. Deck is large - wear shoes... I got two large splinters. one bathroom downstairs with 3 bedrooms.... and this bathroom is also the walk through to the pool and is in the laundry room - a bit awkward. Overall, a very lovely house.

Beautiful home close to the beach!

Beautiful beach home that is clearly well taken care of. We really enjoyed our stay and comfortably fit 13. Beds were comfortable, home has a beautiful layout with upstairs patio facing the beach and kitchen is perfect size for everyone to mingle, cook and eat together. Super quick walk to the beach and this beach area is isolated and avoids all the touristy crowd- which we loved!! Management is super responsive. Sauna was out, but there was an advanced notice so that was appreciated! Pool is huge and clean!! We will definitely return if owner/management will have us again! :)

Family vacation

The location of the house was very good. The biggest problem we had, and the reason for the low rating is the master bedroom was too hot and couldn’t be cooled by the central AC system. The property managers sent someone out after 2 days and he admitted to us that the system wasn’t adequate to cool the master suite. We kept the curtains closed and kept a fan at the door continually to try and blow cool air in, and that helped some but not enough. A few small issues - the small kitchen appliances didn’t work including the blender, coffee pot and toaster. The layout is a little strange. One bedroom upstairs and two full baths while there are three bedrooms and only one full bath downstairs. The pool was nice and generally the house was nice, with the noted exceptions.

La Casa Fole’ SB ‘22

VRBO listed 4 bathrooms, although property has only 3. This was corrected once I pointed it out after we had already booked property. Setup not ideal for 2 families-master upstairs and rest downstairs. The downstairs bedrooms all share the 1 downstairs bathroom which also has the laundry room/pool access in the same room-strange setup. Appliances are all generally in need of repair/replacement with the exception of the oven. Stove doesn’t seem safe. Sauna in master bathroom not operational-wooden sauna ladle & bucket had black mold. Issues with wifi the entire stay-lagging or out completely most of time. ATT stated property has 25MPS maximum which is not sufficient for the streaming Roku tv. Had to use personal hotspot to work. Easy beach access and great ocean view. Property management was very responsive.

Stay away from this property

When looking to book I specifically asked if all the issues in previous reviews had been addressed. I was assured they were. This house has inadequate air conditioning with the main upstairs room only having one small vent right next to the return. Thermostat is locked and you can t adjust below 70. The sauna isn’t fixed it has a big sign that says out of service then I was told it’s not part of the listing nice picture showing it should be removed. Refrigerator leaks and looks to have been leaking for a while. All of the air conditioning filters were filthy and black mold growing in the downstairs bath vent. Outdoor furniture is broke. Two grills on the property do not work. Overall this house is in need of some TLC but probably won’t get it due to being on the market for 180+ days. Property has no instructions on t.v’s spa or any of the extras. Back door pool lock doesn’t work which could be a safety issue for families with small children.

Disappointment

Location of this property is excellent. Managing group did respond in a timely manner to resolve the problems with this unit. Upon arrival, the key pad did not work to allow entrance. We went around back and the back door was open. Entered this way several times because the key pad wasn't operational. Pool skimmers were dirty, pool was full of sand and floats were everywhere. Pool shower was just down right unclean. Once inside it appeared that it was cleaned in a hurry. Birthday balloons stuck to the AC return, 2 of the bathrooms the rugs were in the sink, no trash can liners, no toilet paper in 2 of the 3 bathrooms and overall dirty house. Called manager and someone was out to clean again in about 30 mins. cleaning personal told us the dishwasher wasn't working, 1 of the sink garbage disposals smelled to high heaven ( its obvious no one had run the disposal to clean it), 5 Trash cans full off stinking garbage was in front of the house when we got there. Over all just not a very impressive initial appearance. Once housekeeping was addressed the place itself was in a great location. Perfect access to the beach and fairly close to night activities / restaurants.

Great, but could have been Amazing...

The place was clean, cool (thankfully in Summer!), and welcoming, the location is fantastic, the price was pretty reasonable for the area, and the view is perfection itself... but a few details definitely were missed. No working dishwasher in the kitchen is a surprise for a place this expensive, especially when managed by a company who likely has repair people on staff or at their beck and call - as opposed to a regular homeowner who could be forgiven for floundering a bit. The hot tub had half of the jets non-functional. Not major, but also not what it could have been. Also, the door from the deck to the master bedroom actually does not lock, which is less than optimal for safety concerns, especially given that there is an easily accessible spiral staircase for anyone to come up should they choose to. Finally, there REALLY needs to be a warning about the door to the pool area making a DEAFENING SCREAM every time it's opened. There is a trick to it, but literally any explanation at all would have told me how to do it rather than trial and very ear-splitting error. Full disclosure, I did not reach out the property managers about any of these issues, but to be fair, if they had not been fixed prior to my arrival, it didn't seem likely they would be while I was there. Ultimately, a great place to visit. Just cross your fingers they have worked out these minor (except for the lock) problems.

Villa Segunda Vacation

Property was nice and we enjoyed our stay here. We had a couple of glitches in that the dryer went out on the first day and also wifi signal on second floor was poor to non existent. The property manager's came within an hour and informed us the dryer was new and that the problem was in the electrical panel and a work order was opened but unfortunally the electrician could not come until sometime later in August. After our stay here. This was a huge problem for us for we washed and dryed clother and towels every day. The property manager told us we would be reimbursed for moneies spend at the local laundry mat and also they would bring towels to us daily. We elected to just hang our personal belonging to dry in the house and allow the property manager to bring towels and pick up the wet towels. As to the wifi, the property manager came to investigate the problem and called the provider (ATT) to see if they could do something to increase the wifi signal. It was determined that an wifi extender was needed and the property manager gave to okay to have the extender installed in the home. However, ATT could not come until the week after we were to leave. But the good news is other guest won't have this problem.. Overall, the house was great and only 50 yards to the beach and we would definately lease it again. The property manager, Southern Vacation Rentals, was great and responded within minutes to any request we had. They made the stay a whole lot better even with the issue's we had. We would definately recommed Southern and book with them again. Calvin

Nice House and Great Location

The location (across the street from the beach) was great and the property was a great spot to hang out with friends a family. The top floor living space was a great gathering space, with a nice covered front balcony. The hot tub was great even in the winter. The property was clean. The kitchen was adequately supplied; however, the rental company only provides initial basic supplies (like toilet paper and trash bags) which do not last long with such a big house so make sure to bing your own (just reinforcing what is mentioned in the description).
