This was a perfect house for our stay! Plenty of space, perfect location, nice kitchen, living room, etc. The upstairs shower didn’t have great pressure and would get hot then suddenly cold. That was a small thing though and not a big deal.
This home is very rundown and dated. There is no wi-if that is reliable and no air conditioning. During the summer months this is extremely unpleasant! On the last night we were there, we encountered a rodent in the home. We expressed our concerns to the property manager and never hear back from them. For the amount that we spent on renting this home, we were very disappointed.
There's no denying that the log cabin is beautiful. But it is in need of a week's worth of minor handyman work. (Several cabinets were broken, window sliders gone, microwave and dishwasher at the end of life expectancy, burned out lite bulbs, etc.)
However, it was great to be able to get to Yosemite within 30 minutes.
All considered, I felt it was reasonably priced but definitely could not accommodate 16 adults!!! Maybe 12 could fit.
Everything about our stay was just right. The house is even better than as described in the listing. Clean, spacious, perfect location. We loved cooking big family meals in the gorgeous kitchen after Yosemite adventures.
We enjoyed our stay at this property and its close proximity to Yosemite National Park. It was very clean, comfortable and quiet. The only issue we had was we couldn’t find the sheets to the pull out bed but other than that, we had a great time. The patio was great for barbecuing.

Comfortable and Relaxing
We most enjoyed the location of this property in regards to Yosemite Valley and Maraposa Grove... right in the middle! The home was inviting and comfortable for our 4 night stay. It was clean overall and well stocked on non-perishables. The bed linens and pillows could use updating. Given, no internet though, it would be nice to have some kind of access to local weather. The National park service number is worthless, as it's only updated twice a week and late to update as well. The TV coverage does not mention the Yosemite area. Overall, we would definitely return to this home.

Clean and comfortable
Very clean and comfortable with all the things you need. There is dish tv, but no wi-fi or internet reception. Be prepared for the drive down to the house from the main road (hwy 41), it takes about 8 minutes. Turn off to Glacier point is nearby. Drive to the valley is pleasant and spectacular once you drive through the tunnel.

Property was clean and comfortable.
We had a wonderful time visiting Yosemite! Staying at this property made our trip great! Not to far, about 20/25 min from the Valley. It was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for a family of 8. Beautiful surroundings. Well stocked kitchen.

Wonderful Cabin!
Hikers Hideaway is a clean and well-kept cabin. It looked exactly like the photos on the website. The beautiful photographs on the walls and bear decorations just add to the cozy atmosphere. We enjoyed the jacuzzi tub after hiking in the valley. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the valley floor. The cabin location is great for kids because it is at the end of a cul-de-sac, so they were able to play in the snow without worrying about cars. The area is quiet and peaceful. When I made a mistake on our check-out date, the owner was so gracious and allowed us to stay an extra night despite the extra inconvenience we caused. I would highly recommend Hikers Hideaway to anyone planning on visiting Yosemite.

Short Break in Yosemite
Just back from a lovely 2 night stay at Hikers Hideaway. Its a great location for visiting the valley floor, glacier point and wawona. Used the bbq grill both nights and also enjoyed the lovely jacuzzi in the master bathroom. Only negative was lack of condiments, in other rental houses there has been a great supply but perhaps we were unlucky due to it being a quiet time of the year. Overall would def recommend this house for anyone.
