About this property

Mountain getaway with WI-FI, A/C

This Yosemite West home is located inside Yosemite National Park. It is the closest lodging to the Badger Pass Ski area and Glacier Point, a short ten and twenty minute drive respectively, and is only twenty minutes from Yosemite Valley's floor. Hickory floors, slate tile, maple cabinets, vaulted ceiling, gas fire place, and granite countertops all add to the peaceful stay at the home. We also have Starlink internet.

The main bedroom is located on the top floor and has a California King sized bed. Adjacent this is the main bathroom which has a shower and large bathtub that looks out over the trees. The loft area can also access this bathroom if you like and is a perfect place to snuggle up and read and has a futon that sleeps two. Two additional bedrooms with queen size beds share the second bathroom on the main level.

The large deck is perfect in the summer months and is shaded by large fir trees.

The house has a full kitchen, well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, a large dining table and deck furniture.

Tesla car charging is available during off-peak hours (12pm - 7am) by special request - please inquire.

There is parking room for up to 3 cars; however, please let us know ahead of time if bringing more than 2. Also, to maximize parking, please park perpendicular to the street.

**Please note that there are 30+ stairs to access the house**
**Please note - the mattresses are very firm**

There is a studio apartment in the basement the might be occupied by the homeowner or housekeeper during your stay. There are no shared walls between the studio and rental unit.

We very much enjoyed our stay, the house was very comfortable, clean, the kitchen was well stocked, appreciated the modern appliances. Beth consistently communicated with us during our stay. Everything was perfect for our stay in Yosemite. Check in and communication with the owner was quick and easy. The location of the home was perfect for our visit being that it is within the park and an easy drive to the attractions in the valley. We were impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked with dishes and utensils for eating and cooking. The house was very clean and comfortable with a great cozy feel. The WiFi worked perfectly, so we were never really out of touch with the outside world while in the house. There was plenty of room for four adults and we never felt crowded. We would stay at this home again in a heartbeat and definitely recommend it to anyone looking to plan a vacation to Yosemite.

We’d loved our stay here. It was convenient to the park and so relaxing after a long day in the park. The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the late afternoon and watching the deer in the yard. We had a great stay!

We had such a wonderful time staying here, and Beth was a fantastic host. The place is in the perfect spot in Yosemite, great for going to the value or down toward the Sequoias. It was quite spacious and had a great living room area—my favorite part was the beautiful deck outside! At the time we were staying, the area had a few power issues. However, Beth was super responsive and kept us informed, and even offered alternative lighting while the power was getting fixed. Overall a great place to stay!

First time in Yosemite and I am so glad to have chosen this cabin for our stay. Beautiful home with amazing views. Nothing beats having your morning coffee outside on the balcony and being surrounded by nature. Owner Beth is on top of everything and has great communication during your stay. Cabin is clean, well organized, and stocked with all your basic essentials. Could not recommend this cabin enough. Its a must!

This is a lovely home surrounded by trees in a quiet part of Yosemite. We really felt we were “in the woods” which was great after a busy day in the Valley. Everything worked in the house and the beds were very comfortable. I found the stairs to the house a little challenging but I am in my mid 80s

Great stay in Yosemite! This house was perfect for our family of four. Loved the big windows in the family room and dining area. The owner was very quick in responding to any questions and great at communicating overall. While the drive to the valley was about 30min, I would definitely recommend for someone who wants a spacious setup at Yosemite.

We had a terrific time at this house. The deck was peaceful. We enjoyed cooking on the grill. Also, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with a variety of cooking pans, bakeware, etc. I was happily surprised by this. We built this home in 2007. We live in Yosemite 9 months out of the year and enjoy climbing and hiking. I find it to be one of the most beautiful places in the world. My home in Yosemite West is located at about 5500' making the temperatures in the summer very pleasant.
