The interior, featuring hardwood floors, cathedral ceilings, and an updated and stylish kitchen, allows for a stress-free and comfortable vacation. Enjoy the views from the ocean-side screened porch and the front and back open porches or walk down the private walkway to enjoy the beach hands-on. Outdoor entertainment also abounds here, with access to a surfboard and beach chairs to make your beach stay even more enjoyable. Everyone was so pleased with this house. Great location. Rooms were layed out well as well as bathrooms. Plenty of kitchen items to use. Great porch. The host was very responsive.

This house was the perfect place for our family to celebrate my husband’s one year anniversary of his passing. The house had everything we could possibly think of needing and enough space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves despite the weather. We hope to make this a tradition and come back year after year.

Family Spring Break

Our trip was perfect! The home was beautiful and the ocean views are amazing. Such a quick walk down to the gorgeous flat beach. The screened porch was our favorite spot. The bedrooms and bathrooms were great for our 8 We will stay here again!

A great time was had by all!

The house was very nice, perfect for our family of parents, grandparents, adult children and 4 grands 5 and under. Well equipped with everything we needed even two high chairs. We had plenty of room, great views and privacy. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Family friendly house

This was a nice house and nicely set up for a family vacation. It is beside public beach access. AC could not keep up and kept house about 10 degrees hotter than setting. Outdoor shower did not work. Biggest drawbacks were AC and the house was not clean. Pros were nice family friendly layout, easy beach access, plenty of rooms and bathrooms. We did not utilize but there was a nice breezy area under house with tables, chairs, etc.

Perfect Home on the Beach

Johnson's Nest is by far the BEST beach location I have had the pleasure to rent. My brother and I spend an end of year week together to regroup and prepare for the new year. Johnson's Nest was an absolute retreat for us during the first week of December 2024. The cleanliness of the home is the first aspect that greets you when you walk through the front door and throughout the 5 bedroom 3 bath home. The kitchen has everything you need with updated stainless steel appliances. Even though it was December, we had great weather to dine out on the screened-in porch that overlooked the beach. The beds were like floating on air. Bed linens and bathroom towels were provided. The home has a very open environment. Please know the marketing photos although beautiful do NOT do the home justice. The home is immaculately decorated and well kept. Our December trip had some cool mornings and it was great to have an outstanding HVAC system to take off the chill of the mornings. The deck on the beach side of the home looked newly renovated. There isn't enough space to in this review to gush over this home. Just know that is it time and money well spent renting Johnson's Nest. We hope to return next December.
