Architect remodeled, modern amenities, historic charm. Every Bedrooms has their own private bath. Library/Living Room has 5' wide fireplace & Flat Screen TV/Bose. Kitchen has Thermadore, Wolf appliances, Fireplace. Most rooms have fireplaces. 2 Decks lead to secluded yard. Bedroom 1 has private 2nd floor terrace.

Really unique property. Stayed for a wedding with the entire family. There was enough room for us the in-laws, the siblings and the kids. Place was awesome. Great location, hist was easy to connect with. If you need a larger space this place is amazing

Beautiful old house. Gregory was a very communicative and helpful host. We had everything we needed in terms of linens, toilet paper, trash bags, toiletries, etc. Amazing value for those who need a big space with lots of bedrooms, with lots of nice common spaces. It was perfect for our needs-- we loved it!!The house may not be ideal for your group if you have very particular guests-- the house had some quirks like no bathrooms that aren't en suite on the first/second floors, not all the beds are super comfortable, some bedrooms without closet/dresser, the house shows understandable signs of age. None of it was a problem for us, but may not be perfect for every crew.Overall, we had a great stay and would return again if we were back in MN! Thanks Gregory!

Gina, Glad you had a great stay. Sorry about confusion on a couple items mentioned: - All the bedrooms on the second floor have full ensuite bathrooms (bathrooms in the bedrooms). The bedroom on the garden level has ensuite bathroom as well. The 2 bathrooms on the third floor are in the hallway immediately adjacent to the 2 bedrooms there. Total of 6 bathrooms. -All bedrooms have full mattress and box springs, the master bed room has a Tempurpedic mattress. The mattress maybe referencing on comfort is a select comfort mattress that can have its firmness adjusted. The controls are to the side of each side of that king mattress-sorry if missed that. -All bedrooms have either and/or both closets and dressers. The one might not have connected is the master bedroom has both dresser and hanging space in the room adjacent that also has the laundry in it. Thanks again and glad you had a great stay! The house is full of historic charm. We were a group of six middle-aged men that came to town to watch some baseball games and relax. It fit our needs quite well.

We had a large group for a bachelor weekend and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Groceries within walking distance, plenty of beds, couches, and linens, and lots of space. Gregory was very communicative and we did not have any questions during the stay because he was very thorough prior to us getting here.

We attended a conference. The house is within walking distance from the conference center as well as restaurants in the area. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and is a lovely old construction with bedrooms and full bathrooms to accommodate our party of 8. We enjoyed the atmosphere and playing a few games in the fussball table. Its a great place to stay.

We rented this home for a bachelorette weekend and unfortunately had an issue with a mouse in the house. We contacted the owner, and he did come over to set traps, which we appreciated. However, we continued to see the mouse throughout the rest of the night, which was obviously uncomfortable and not something you expect to deal with in a vacation rental.While we understand that things can happen, having a rodent in the home definitely impacted our experience. We were also disappointed that no discount or compensation was offered for the inconvenience. For the amount you pay to rent a home, I would expect a situation like this to be handled beyond simply setting traps, especially when the issue continued afterward.Overall, it put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun bachelorette weekend.

I can’t say enough good things about this property, the host, and our stay. We had a full 16 in our family/extended family crew in town for a wedding and the house met all our needs. The host was exceptionally responsive even bringing in a new coffeemaker in a pinch! We were able to make wonderful memories and I cannot recommend this property enough. Looking forward to our next visit!

Unique, Interesting, and Enormous!

Good property for large gathering

We had a family reunion at the property with about 15 people. The space was great for meals and socializing and the e location is great as well. Greg let me see the property before I booked it and was a great communicator.

Ideal for family gathering

We were siblings, spouses, cousins, one ex-, and five 7-23 year old children—14 in total. Plenty of room and space to rest, work, cook(!), and gather. Great atmosphere and everything we needed to make a holiday meal for all. Well equipped and plenty of knives, pots and pans, dishes and cups in great condition. Thanks to Gregory! Guys trip

Great large house for a large group - fit 9 guys comfortably. Bathroom in guest bedroom was not a full. We had some plumbing issues but the owner was very prompt in his response.

beautiful unique mansion near Downtown Minneapolis

First of all, I can't say enough about this house - kooky, unique, GORGEOUS, and most of all - huge. It was perfect for our 11-person crew this weekend. Actually, it was much bigger than we even needed. The vibe is part haunted house mansion, part gorgeous historical landmark - lots of beautiful woodwork throughout. The host was very communicative throughout. Place was clean and well--stocked, and location was perfect. Love it and highly recommend.
