Beds are comfortable. Good location. Used uber to get to Ralph Engelstad Arena. Had to put the clean dishes away in the dishwasher. Kitchen flooring needs replacement as it is peeling up. We were only there overnight so didn’t really need to cook anything.

Mostly Good

The property is good. Easy location with lots of amenities. But, the room was average. No bar soap or any soap at any of the sinks. One bedroom bathroom had no toilet paper holder (recently fell off the wall). The refrigerator was "cool" at best. I called about it, not sure if they fixed it, but within a day it was back to "cool" so I had to throw out my food and couldn't cook any meals. Sort of defeats the purpose of a property that advertises a full kitchen. Overall, it was an ok stay, but definitely could have been better.

HI Brian, we thank you for your review. We are happy that you liked the property and its location. We take note of your comments regarding the state of some amenities (toilet paper holder and refrigerator) and we will forward them to our partner so that they can fix them or solve the problem. We are sorry that you had to throw out food. We hope you will give us the opportunity to welcome you again. Sincerely, Your Leavetown Team

Too noisy

Room was fine the problem during our week-long stay was that there were youth hockey tournaments in town (which apparently occur pretty much every weekend in Grand Forks in cold weather), and several of the teams teams appeared to be staying at the hotel. Of course kids make noise, but to have screaming and running up and down the halls, and jumping up and down go on for hours on end (sometimes until 1:00am) was too much. The front desk person seemed to do their their best to restore some order, but it was a lot of kids and made for a long week. We left a day ahead of schedule because of the commotion.

Hello Michael, we would like to thank you for your feedback following your recent visit. We are sorry to read that your stay was disturbed by the noise made by your neighbours. Indeed, those things can happen and we sincerely apologize. It is essential to inform the front desk team while you're there so the team can find a solution quickly. However, we cannot always control the behavior of some other guests. We hope you were able to enjoy the area though, as well as the amenities that the resort has to offer. Kind regards, the Leavetown Team
