We really enjoyed our stay. The host added thoughtful and generous touches like fresh eggs and homemade bread, as well as sharing homegrown veggies with us. The property is beautiful and the space had everything we needed. Thank you!

The home and property were cute and clean. Loved having the hiking trails around the property to be able to use as well. Very peaceful place to stay and not too far from the attractions. Well worth the stay.
A beautiful place to escape the city for a long weekend. Clean and cozy inside with trails to walk and nice outdoor seating for reading. I fully recommend this location!

Beautiful trails around the property, clean and cozy. Everyone was so friendly. The views are breath-taking. Excellent hospitality.
Cute spacious place with lots of amenitites. Appreciate the higher quality items (such as towels that are actually absorbent!), eggs, loaf of bread, and opportunity to compost. Perfect rural getaway with lots of trails on which to roam around.

Thank you for your complimentary review. This is exactly the experience we want to share with our visitors. We are so glad you appreciated the amenities! Thank you for staying with us.
The hosts were very welcoming and accommodating. There were eggs, a delicious bread made with local aronia berries, butter, coffee, and fresh from their garden asparagus! We also were invited to tour their beautiful cordwood walled home. Thank you, Roberta and Kim!
My fiancé and I loved staying here, it was quiet and we really got to feel at peace. There are a lot of places to visit that are not far from here either. The local kitties were also so very sweet and friendly. :)
Our stay was great in the upper "apartment" of this VRBO. The hostess was excellent, leaving us fresh bread and eggs as well as touching base with us when storms were going through the area. The VRBO was clean, well furnished, spacious, and had basic necessities for cooking. We decided to stay at this particular location because it was near the hiking trails we were looking to use during our long weekend. However, the fact that it was located on a hobby farm with more trails and lots of green space to enjoy in our downtime was a plus! There was no TV at this location, however, we actually ended up appreciating this exemption as we spent our nights talking, playing cards, and having a fire in the shared space out back.We would definitely recommend this site to others!
We were in the area to bike the Military Ridge Trail. Although it was still a bit of a drive to get to our biking destination each day, it was worth it. Very peaceful place place and friendly owners.
We loved walking the trails and visiting with the kitties and goats each day after we were done biking. We also enjoyed the aronia bread and fresh eggs that were provided.

We enjoyed Judy and spouse very much. They were sincerely interested in the area, local attractions and our property and animals. We would be happy to host them again!
Perfect for two people, the area is quiet, perfect if you want to disconnect from the big city, but it is about 20 to 30 minutes aways from New Glarus, Cave of the Mount or House on the Rock. We didn’t mind the driving because the countryside was beautiful. We made use of the trails and pet the goats they have on the property which made for a relaxing experience.

Yes, it is more than a quick jaunt to attractions in the area, but there is little more scenic than the Driftless, and you get to experience it's variety in your transit. Thank you for coming!
We absolutely loved our stay at this property! It's great for a couple or small family (we have one child, a tween). The location was perfect for fall, every drive was stunning! There are so many charming towns nearby, and we found a lot of fun things to do nearby. My daughter loved greeting the animals each morning, and ending her day telling them goodnight. The apartment is comfortable, hosts are very kind (they even left fresh bread + eggs for us upon arrival!), and we really enjoyed our experience. We would definitely stay here again!

We live on the property, across the driveway from the rental. We moved here to enjoy nature, the views and clean air. It is our ideal home location!
Why they chose this property
Again, the views, birds, nature. The Driftless exists nowhere else in the world. We feel privileged to live here! The community is phenomenal and the small town offerings are special.
What makes this property unique
We are quiet, serene, pastoral and wholesome. Situated in the rolling hills of the Driftless, close to trout streams, challenging bike routes, we enjoy our magnificent sunrises and sunsets. We have wonderful neighbors who raise chickens, sheep, produce, etc. Our neighborhood is congenial and nourishing!
