Beautiful view, very clean and comfortable house. Pat responded very quickly. I am hoping to return next summer for a longer stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication
This is a hard one to write because although we loved the house and the location we were very disappointed to find a very bright street/yard light. We were looking for a location that was secluded and very dark so we could view the meteor showers, Before booking I specifically asked if it was very dark there and stated our reason for wanting to know. I was assured it was dark. When night time came there was a very bright street/yard light right in the NE where we were supposed to look for the meteors. I contacted the host and was upset because she assured me it would be dark. I also asked if it could be turned off. She replied that she didn't know it had been fixed and that it could not be turned off. Needless to say we didn't get to see the meteors. We tried walking around the property to find a dark spot but either there were buildings in the way or the light just ruined it. I really hate to give a bad review because the house was great and the location was very secluded and quiet, however I feel that the host misrepresented the property to us and that she didn't care that we spent a lot of money for a dark location that wasn't. So, while we made the best of our stay and did enjoy some of it, I feel we should have received some compensation for being lied to about the darkness factor especially when I specifically asked before I booked. We would have stayed there again if it wasn't for that.
