We came up for the holiday weekend (Memorial Day), 4 of us. Unfortunately, it rained all 3 days during our stay, but it was well worth staying in and relaxing. Kashka was always accessible and even stopped by to help us with the TV and fireplace. The home was clean, cozy and inviting. Highly recommend -- thank you Kashka!

Lisa and her friends stayed at the house over the Memorial Day weekend. The communication thought was seamless. They treated the house with outmost respect. It was left in a great condition. Despite of the rainy weather, this group knew how to rest and relax during their retreat from the City. I would definitely recommend them and host them again! Cheers!
The 3 bedroom house was exactly as pictured and described. Each room was about the same size with very comfortable beds. Although there was only one bathroom, it was spacious and nicely renovated. The house is old, but it was very well-maintained. You will get floors that creak and narrow high stairs, but that is very much the charm of this house. The location was great and easy to access. Kashka was an amazing host - the communication was easy, quick and efficient
From the fresh flowers that greeted us, the delightful mountain breeze that blows through the windows, to the softest sheets on the beds that we ever felt......we loved this property! We will be returning!!!
We had a perfect city getaway weekend at Kasha's home with our friends and dogs. The house was the perfect size and very comfortable for 4 adults. We enjoyed cooking, board games, using the Roku TV and spending time in the snowy yard with our pups. Kashka's communication and thoughtfulness were excellent. We originally booked this trip for December, but contracted Covid and needed to reschedule. Kashka was very understanding and flexible with our situation and we're so glad it worked out. We would definitely stay here again.
Kashka is a great host, easy check-in and communication. Cabin is wonderful, picture perfect Catskills retreat. Lots of books, games, fully stocked kitchen, cozy wood stove, nice neighbours, quiet dead end street. Highly recommend.
My husband and I needed to find a place that enabled us to escape the constant demands of our busy lives. Upon finding this charming house in West Kill, NY we knew this was our place. We spent three relaxing days in WK with our dog, Dash. The owner was a very good communicator and always responded to my questions within an hour. We were about 9 miles to Hunter Mountain Resort, Windham Resort was about 14.3 miles. We were also close to the cute historical town of Woodstock, NY which was about 26 miles from the house. All three towns offered some nice restaurants. We ate our lunches out, but enjoyed cooking and eating at the house for dinner. There is a lot of interesting history to this house so either read about it or ask the owner. The greatest joy is that she has maintained the house in its original structure and detail while updating it for our enjoyment. Wishing everyone a very healthy and happy New Year! Enjoy your stay. The house is full of history and charm. The commercial gas stove makes cooking fun. I was looking for a place to relax and be close to hikes and activities but still felt like I was deep in the Catskills and this fits the bill. The owner is accessible and responsive but always very respectful of your space. It was unseasonably warm and so we asked for some ac units for the bedrooms and she promptly brought them over. Of course it got colder by the end of the week so the brand new fire pit came in very handy too. Location near spruceton area means you are 15 minutes from some great hikes, the devils path, and a great brewery without hitting a stoplight. Would recommend and stay again.
I highly recommend this property if you are looking for some quiet time away in a lovely setting. The home is impeccable - everything is provided - kitchen is amazingly stocked - there are even iPhone chargers left out! It has 3 lovely bedrooms upstairs - a screened-in porch and a giant couch in the living room. The entire experience exceeded my expectations.
We stayed at Kashka and Benjamin’s place to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary near where we got married in the Catskills. The home is a beautiful Sears and Roebuck and very well kept. We also brought our dog who enjoyed the fenced in yard. The location is great since it wasn’t far from a lot of town, sites and trails. Great place to unwind and detach but there’s WiFi if you want to be connected.
