BEAUTIFUL & UPSCALE WATERFRONT HOME WITH FANTASTIC VIEWS & GOURMET KITCHEN

Picture phenomenal sunrises, five acres of lushly wooded hillsides and moss-covered slopes, a seasonal stream, the call of sea birds, and 300 feet of rocky shoreline. This is the beauty of nature that surrounds this northwest contemporary vacation home on Orcas Island.

You will find Erehwon Seaside at the end of a winding drive through a magical forest setting. This home is a well built and well cared for home offering sweeping views over East Sound and toward Mount Constitution and Rosario Resort.

The upper level living room features vaulted beamed ceilings, gleaming hardwood floors, and a propane fireplace. With soapstone counters, Sub Zero refrigerator, Viking range, and a large prep island, the kitchen is equipped to please the most discriminating chef. The laundry room and a queen bedroom is on this upper level as is a bathroom with shower. The living, dining, and bedrooms open onto over 2,000 square feet of decking overlooking the water that will invite you to embrace the great outdoors when you dine.

Downstairs you'll find the master bedroom suite featuring a king bed. The master bathroom is gracious, offering dual vanities, a large open shower, and a soaking tub with a view. Down the hall is a third bedroom that offers a full size bed, desk, and sofa bed. The lower level also offers a large sauna, a wood-burning fireplace surrounded by river rock, 65" Roku TV and soundbar.

**Do note that due to the high-bank and deck exposure, children will require strict adult supervision.**

Erehwon Seaside is located about 15 minutes from the Orcas ferry landing and about 15 minutes from the village of Eastsound.

Wonderful Christmas Stay

A wonderful view of the Orcas bay at a beautifully appointed house. This was our second stay here relaxing with the kids. We will be back for a third stay for sure!

This home lives up to the photos - stunning views and location. Waking up to have coffee on the deck and watch the eagles. Enjoying the hot tub in the evening listening to the birds. Very serene.

We loved the location- very private and beautiful views of the water. Host was great at communicating. Loved the kitchen and common areas- kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare group meals. Would definitely consider for a return trip.

Wonderful Orcas House and Snow Stay

Beautiful, nicely outfitted and super comfortable house and secluded property! Bonus of snow, with a great time exploring the house trail down to the East Sound shore. Also the views of Mt Constitution from the house were amazing. Easy communication with the property manager on a couple of small items was appreciated. We look forward to the next time we can return.

Fantastic Stay at Orcas Island

This is a gorgeous property a short drive from the ferry and Eastsound. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever you might need to cook a meal. We enjoyed the lovely weather on the deck overlooking the water. The steep walk down to the beach is great exercise and our kids loved all the starfish during low tide. Beds were comfy. Lots of different hang out areas for relaxing. The owner was very responsive when we had a question. Overall a great stay!

Fantastic house

A beautiful home that has clearly been set-up with care. The views are incredible, and the communication with Jared could not have been better. He even went above and beyond to help return our toddler’s beloved stuffed animals that accidentally got left behind. Highly recommend!

Nicely equipped house with amazing views!

This house sits just across the bay from Rosario Bay. It’s perched on the hill so you have 180 degree water views. Inside, it’s comfortable and perfect for a vacation of cooking and hanging out with friends and family. The kitchen has all you need with high end appliances and pans. Each room has a corespondent bathroom. The sauna and hot tub are clean and wonderful.

Summer in Orcas

As noted in other reviews, the views from the deck of the house was amazing. Overlooks East Sound towards Rosario resort where one can watch seaplanes land and take off as well as boats heading towards the sound during the day. Location was ideal as it was very private and close to town for shopping/dining and the ferry. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, plentiful plates/utensils/silverware for a family meal. Rooms were well appointed with linens and baths had sufficient towels and basic toiletries. Overall, had a great time celebrating a 50th Anniversary with the family and will definitely make a return visit.

My grandfather first travelled to Orcas Island on a fishing trip in the 70's and purchased a lot near Rosario Resort in 1979. He purchased another lot in the 1980's and built his retirement home in 1992. I spent my childhood visiting my grandparents and spending summer vacations on the island. My parents have since inherited that home, and my wife and I were eventually married at Rosario Resort on Rosario Point.

Why they chose this property

We have a view of the very spot that my wife and I were married, and can even see the bay where I went fishing with my grandfather as a child. While work requires us to live elsewhere, we still treasure the time we get to come and spend on the island. Our home means so much to us, and we hope to continue to improve it as the years go on, as well as share it with others.
