Stay at St. Regis unit 2202

Check in was peopleless but smooth with no hitches if you read the checkin info carefully. A/C inop first day but was comfortable with windows open, was fixed pronto on second day. Electronic door lock inop on last night (dead battery) but once again emergency maint was johnny on the spot and was working within and hour with no interruption to our time there. Great response. Unit updated and very comfortable. Beds comfortable.

Clean Condo, decent place

The area was clean for the most part. The staircases were filthy and not cleaned the whole week. There was the same trash sitting out. We couldn’t enjoy the balcony at all in the evenings due to cockroaches which made me a little uneasy. I know we are in the south but I’ve never experienced that at other places I’ve stayed in the Carolina’s. Pool is decent and clean. Our condo was very clean. Parking was easy. Hallways were clean. Overall a decent place. A little pricey for it but felt safe and comfortable which is important to me.

Good location; favorable rental

The pics were accurate in that they displayed a cute, beachy property on the surface. It is decorated quite well! However, the sleeper sofa, the primary piece of living room furniture, was terribly saggy and uncomfortable. (The bed was comfortable though.) Countertops were dirty upon entering and there were two cockroach sitings. The laundry closet was dank & dirty-looking with a roach carcass in the corner. The tub drain was sluggish. Otherwise, it was well stocked but cupboards were disorganized. Very small space available to store food. On the other hand, it had a view of the ocean, was close to the pool, had a fitness area, and a restaurant on site (3/5). Has everything available that you need but it could use a new sofa, some deep cleaning, repainting, and organizing of the kitchen.

Nice condo, so-so complex

I really enjoyed the condo, but it seemed like the facilities crew had a hard time keeping up with the people that seemed to throw trash on the ground. I would see it get all cleaned up then by the next morning there were cigarette butts and cans down by the exit from the stairwell near our unit. When we got to our place it needed the floors cleaned better, but fortunately there was a vacuum and a swiffer that was able to get the job done. Beach access is great and having multiple options to get to the beach is very nice. The feet washing stations on the walkways are great! The restaurant is good here as well but it seemed to be closed for about half of our stay.

Not completely clean when we arrived. Showers could have used a little more attention. Still some sand hanging about. Living room furniture showing wear and tear.
