About this property

Ponderosa Park Lake House -- Private dock and beach!

We found this property in 2017 and knew the location was special! NEWLY RENOVATED 4000 sq feet, three floor home, perfect for family reunions or a week with friends! Five bedrooms, each with own bathroom. Loft with ping pong table/TV/sectional for kids (sleeps 4). Fully equipped kitchen with adjoining family room and formal dining. Four king beds and one queen. Huge kitchen with lake view as well as three bedrooms with lake views. Two bedrooms on second floor offer gas fireplaces and a wood burning fireplace in main floor family room. Laundry room on first floor and an additional laundry unit on second floor. Plenty of parking in front driveway (6 vehicles or RV parking).

House includes clean linens, towels and basic toiletry items (hand soap, shampoo and body wash in each bathroom). House will be stocked with a day's worth of supplies: coffee, paper towels, toilet paper and garbage bags. Our little guests are important too; house includes one pack n play. Two bedrooms on first floor, two bedrooms on second floor, second floor also has queen pullout. Third floor loft includes a queen bed bedroom with bathroom (no bedroom door), a single and double pull out plus couch and two rollaway mats. Kids will love the ping pong, games and books upstairs! First floor bedrooms include TVs, enjoy the TV in the main family room and one for the kids in third floor loft. Access to Netflix/Apple TV. Back deck is large and perfect for outdoor dining in summertime. Staircase down to private beach/firepit and private dock.

We had such a great stay with our whole family - 6 adults, a 5yr old and a 9mo old. The house was well stocked and the private beach/dock and access to the Ponderosa Park hiking trails were so convenient and hard to beat! We would rent this house again in a heartbeat. Thanks!

Perfect lakefront getaway

Great place!

We had a group of 14 adult males staying for a week for our Annual Fantasy Football draft. The house had plenty of room for all of us to sleep and hang out. We have been doing our annual trip for over 20 years, and this was one of the best places we ever stayed.

This house is perfect for big families. Each big bedroom has their own bath, beautifully updated, huge kitchen, great deck and the sandy beach was so key! The dock was great for our ski boat. We cannot say enough nice things about this house.

Friends for decades!

My friends and I stayed at this gorgeous property overlooking Payette Lake. It is located in Ponderosa State Park fairly close to the town of McCall. The photos do not do this property justice as it is even prettier than the photos show! The Scandinavian decor is lovely ……minimalistic yet beautiful! The five bedrooms with four of them being en-suite are lovely and the loft bedroom has a bathroom in close proximity. We enjoyed several walks located on nearby trails.In the future, it is my hope to rent it again along with my children and their families……enough room for everyone!

Amazing Lake Front House on Payette Lake with Dock

We had such an amazing week at this property, no one wanted to leave when our stay was over! The house is beautifully decorated and having your own sandy beach and dock to use is super convenient if you have water toys. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and there was plenty of space for everyone. The view from the deck is breathtaking especially during summer sunsets and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Great memories were made and we hope we can return in the future!

Outstanding Lake Front Home!

Five Stars! The photos and description in the listing are 100% accurate and we are very appreciative that the host is willing to share this gem with the VRBO community. We were down on the beach when a 4 point buck decided to walk past us and take up shelter under the deck and provide selfie opportunities. We hiked the peninsula, had a bonfire on the beach and boated on the lake. Treat yourself to this spectacular opportunity!

Loved our stay at the Ponderosa lake house

This was our second visit to the beautiful Ponderosa lake House on Payette Lake. We came back because it’s such a fantastic place for friends and family to spend time together. The house layout and furnishings are perfect for our group. The house is very clean and well stocked. The views are amazing and the access to Pondersa park, just steps from the property, make this a special location. We love the new dock, it worked well to park our boat and just hang out and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It’s a great place!

The best place to stay in McCall!

I want to tell everyone about this house but i also don’t want anyone to know because it is going to get booked out! Everything about is amazing. Our favorite part is how insanely comfortable it is for the amount of people it can hold! Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is a game changer. From the kitchen, to the living room, to the dock, it seriously could not have been any more perfect for our trip. We will definitely be staying here again the first chance we can!

Winter Ski Week with Family

This is a beautiful property that we had rented in the summer for many years before it was sold to the current owners and renovated. We loved seeing what the new owners had done to the property. Beautiful place and perfect for a large family gathering. Perfect in every way except the entrance over ice and snow was a bit tricky. We were able to walk just next to the garage after getting over the mound of ice in the driveway.

From host to facility, everything was ideal. Simply ideal. Hard to resist the temptation to rate it a single star and wave my hand in Jedi fashion saying, “You don’t want to rent this place” in order to dissuade bookings and have better availability for my family in the future! Perfect for your next friend/family reunion or business, yoga, couples, artist, writer retreat!
