Start and end your day with spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean from this classic beach bungalow in Moclips. Feel the ocean breezes, smell the fresh salt air, hear the pounding surf, and watch the sunset ...or the storms.
This bright and charming vintage cottage is rustic, comfortable, and brimming with character. The kitchen has recently been completely renovated with new cabinets, appliances, and amenities, including a professional gas stove. The living room has an airy beach vibe. The TV is set up for streaming and sits right above the cozy electric fireplace. Both can be enjoyed from the sofa (which turns into a comfortable queen-size sleeper). If duty calls, there's a sweet little work area in the entry. After a long day at the beach (easy beach access is a short 1-mile drive in either direction), enjoy a soak in the covered hot tub with its view of the ocean, or try the vintage-style clawfoot tub. The cottage is filled with natural light, and the bedroom faces the ocean with large windows for a great view and a French door that opens to the back deck.
Enjoy a beverage or meal on the sprawling and well-appointed back deck with its lounger chairs, gas BBQ, and dining table, which overlook the hammock, wood-burning fire pit and the ocean beyond. In inclement weather, you still have a gorgeous view of the ocean from almost every room in the house, a telescope to see wildlife, and a bookcase filled with books and games. Keep an eye out, and you may see a trio of deer who often visit.
The cottage sits on three lots, allowing plenty of elbow room and privacy. Your future memories are waiting at Sunset Beach Getaway.

This place was absolutely stunning. The views were breathtaking and we loved the set up of the property. Only issue was the hot tub was a little dirty and the hanging lights around the hot tub wouldnt turn on.

Amazing property! Exactly like the pictures. The view was incredible and nothing like sitting outdoors or indoors and hearing the sound of the waves! Beautiful sunsets, watching deer in the backyard. Everything was perfect.
The view, the property, the location, and the amenities are great. Communication with the owners was quick and easy. The home had lots of towels, kitchen ware, and other items. The home was clean and thoughtfully decorated.

What a great view! Even though we were there in January, we could still see the beautiful sunset go down into the ocean. It was very peaceful - the bedroom is on the ocean side, so all we could hear was the ocean! It has all the amenities, and easy in and out of the driveway onto a state highway. Would definitely stay here again.
We made a quick trip out for a family celebration. I’m so glad we picked this place to stay. It was easy to get in, had what we needed and was just what we needed.
Rustic cottage at its finest. Great getaway for a couple. All amenities were thought of and the space is simple and wonderfully decorated. Hot tub, fireplace and lots of charm. Beautiful scenic view overlooking Pacific beach. Only a 5 min drive for a walk on the beach. Close to Seabrook Village for quaint shopping and grocery needs. We look forward to staying again in the future.

Beach House
Cute little beach house. Clean, everything you needed. We felt the nightly price was a bit high for the unit.
I stayed here with my husband and 19yo daughter for three nights, and it was just perfect. Everything was spotless and so cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. I loved that there were plenty of linens/blankets, pillows, and towels. Lots of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating and places to relax with a beautiful view. The hot tub was amazing- love that it’s in a spot with an ocean view but also has curtains to allow privacy from neighbors. We didn’t see or hear any neighbors though- it felt very private and quiet other than the sound of the waves crashing below. We spent one day on the beach at Moclips and another day we drove up to Ruby Beach, which was a little over an hour away. This property is great for anyone wanting to avoid crowds and just chill.
It was what I was looking for in a getaway to the coast. I did not, to my knowledge, communicate with the property manager, so that rating should be n/a
Quiet little town on a beautiful ocean shore! Property was charming. We enjoyed sipping our coffee on the ocean view deck in the morning and sipping our beer in the evening. The way the nearness to the ocean affects the weather, this was a totally unique experience. Take the stunning Moclips highway just North of town up to the Olympic Park Quinault ranger station for an unforgettable experience!
I loved this place! Decor was gorgeous and loved the beach view. Well stocked with kitchen utensils and dishes for our 3 day stay.
Couldn’t find the gas grill and had no way I could find of communicating with the property owner. But we found the best town a few miles down the road with spots to eat so we didn’t need it.
If I’m ever in this area again I’ll definitely stay here!

Cozy getaway close to public beaches
Well appointed kitchen, sweet cottage perfect big wonderful deck with fantastic ocean view. A bit more attention to cleanliness of floor/ rugs and replacing batteries in TV remote and heating/ cooling thermostat would make this 5 stars.

Everything about this little cottage by the sea was fantastic. My only complaint is that we couldn't find sheets for the pull-out bed. They were not located where the listed stated and we couldn't find them anywhere else. That being said, we WILL be returning to this exact cottage.

We passed your comments along to our local manager to review and we appreciate guests’ preferences as a means to continually improve. We look forward to hosting your next stay!
The cottage was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. It would have been nice if you could walk out to the ocean through the gate but the drop off was a bit much.
The claw foot tub is adorable but dangerous to climb in and out of, especially if the tub was wet. It is quite slippery.

This our third annual stay at Sunset Beach Getaway and while there we booked another for next year. We appreciate that the previous and new owners are keen on updating appliances and amenities. The feeling is quaint and has a very bright and cheery beach cabin atmosphere. Just crack the West windows open a bit and the surf sounds fill the rooms. We love the private and intimate setting. The view is awesome. The elevated position allows for incredible sunset views (there is also a great view of sunrises). It is always very clean and fresh and when I had a question about the door lock the manager responded quickly and was very helpful.

Sweet little cottage
We enjoyed our stay. The cottage has a bright beach aesthetic and is clean and cozy. My only feedback would be that adding outdoor lighting and making sure doors and windows are secure would be helpful. I arrived late with my two young children. It was pitch black outside which made it hard to find and get inside. Also when we arrived a couple of doors were unlocked and windows unlatched which wasn't a huge deal, but I was traveling alone with my little ones and would have felt a little more secure if everything was locked.

Minor repairs still need to be made.
The home was very comfortable. There were a few minor issues, no working outlets in the bathroom. Very sensitive smoke detectors, could not make any breakfast without smoke detectors going off and unable to shut off. Breakers blew when microwave was plugged in, no curtains or blinds on bedroom door for privacy. Other than that everything was good. Yes, we will be staying another time.

Do NOT stay here. Amenities are not as described. Local operations manager promises to address ...
Arrived at home and immediately notified the local Vacasa operations manager that there was no gas grill (advertised), and the coffee machine was a Keurig, but the provided coffee packets were for drip coffee. In addition, I advised the Vacasa manager that a MOUSE ran across the garage right in front of me while I was searching for the gas grill. Agent promised compensation for the missing grill, as well as to send Keurig pods. Despite my repeated inquiries during our 2-night stay, we received NEITHER (no coffee nor promised compensation). Travelers - stay elsewhere. Home Owners - you're paying good money for lousy service.
