Tusen Takk is Norwegian for "a thousand thanks". Our wish for your visit here is for time to relax and remember what you are thankful for and what makes your life good.

We are a bright red home located on a side street, just 4 blocks from downtown. We offer 3 bedrooms, large living and dining areas, a sweet patio spot and a fenced in yard. Start up the fire pit and share your stories around the flames. Walk downtown to your favorite coffee place and enjoy this charming town.

Everything was wonderful! Home is in a very quiet dead end street, plenty of gathering space. Would be nice to have a dishwasher though. Very clean and lots of wonderful little thoughtful amenities.

This residence was excellent. The host was great and the accommodations perfect. The host was very communicative when an issue occurred (due to freezing temperatures and out of everyone's control) and resolved it quickly. I highly recommend this residence and host!

We are friend group who came for biking in the area. We enjoyed our stay and the close location to Water street and shops/ restaurants The backyard patio was nice and home was comfortable and clean. Owners v responsive too highly recommend

We had a great stay in Decorah at Tusen Takk. Janice was very quick to respond to my questions. The house was very clean, the location was absolutely great for a downtown walk when weather allowed (it was pretty humid). The house super cute, the beds were comfortable, and the window air conditioner kept the upstairs cool.

Great stay

Property was clean and quaint. We went to a wedding in the area and it was only a short walk from the main strip in Decorah back to the property. We would stay again for sure!
