Tusen Takk is Norwegian for "a thousand thanks". Our wish for your visit here is for time to relax and remember what you are thankful for and what makes your life good.

We are a bright red home located on a side street, just 4 blocks from downtown. We offer 3 bedrooms, large living and dining areas, a sweet patio spot and a fenced in yard. Start up the fire pit and share your stories around the flames. Walk downtown to your favorite coffee place and enjoy this charming town.

As three retired nurses looking for a comfortable place to stay while we explored Decorah, we couldn't be more pleased. The home has a lovely energy, was very clean and warmly decorated. Highly recommend.

These guests were our worst by far. They left beer cans everywhere got blood on our comforters left a bloody pair of camel pants on our kitchen floor. They did not take good care of our home nor did they pay us for the extra cleaning that was required.

The house is in a great location, Nice residential neighborhood within a 15 minute walk of downtown. Communication with the host was east. The house was clean and could easily sleep 6. We had a brief overnight stay which was unfortunate bc it really felt like home. Would stay again without question.
