About this property

"No Pressure" Beautiful beach front home

This a beautiful beach front home that has been recently renovated and we just added a pool and new huge pavered patio and pool! The pool does have a heater for those chillier times of year (fees apply). This house features 4 bedrooms and three baths. There are three bedrooms with king size beds, two of which have sliding glass doors that go out to the upstairs beach front deck. The fourth bedroom has a bunkbed with a trundle bed under it, and a chair that pulls out to a twin mattress, so plenty of room for the kids. There is also a sleeper sofa. The kitchen is brand new and is in a huge open floor plan to the living room looking at the beach. It also has a large laundry room upstairs. On the ground level of the home we just added a large pavered area with a fire pit right in the dunes, that ties right into the pool area great for entertaining. Also there is a beach path for easy access with your wagon or even golf cart! It has two large decks to enjoy the fresh air and great view from sunrise to sunset! The Indian Pass raw bar is about a mile down the road, great place to get your oyster fix and serve yourself some local beer. Also PortSt. Joe is a great little town about twenty minutes to the west. It has a lot to offer with grocery store, restraunts, and shops. In the other direction to the east is Appalachacola which is a quaint little fishing village also with many shops and restaurants. They also have a brewery there with great beer. We are very close to many boat ramps and a state park which is beautiful! Theres plenty to do or you can just relax on our very quiet beaches. If you are looking for laid back this is the place to stay this is it!!

Excellent house and location

My husband and I, with 2 of our daughters and their spouses and 3 grandchildren stayed 6 days. The location, cleanliness and house with a pool were awesome. While the grandkids enjoyed the pool, we thoroughly enjoyed the beach. The house was clean and tastefully decorated. We will definitely be back!!!

So quiet and relaxing!

This house was exactly what we needed! Great location, not too far from some great food, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay! We had the pleasure of meeting Danny, the owners brother, and he took great care of us! Definitely would recommend and we look forward to future stays here!

The perfect spot!

We loved the property. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed, including a tent for the beach. The pool is small, but perfect for kids! We were so close to the beach, which is the best part. No packing the entire house to take the kids to the beach. We can’t wait to go back!!

We had an excellent time here. The beach and pool and house were exactly what we wanted. Matt was great with communication. The house needed minor maintenance while we were there, but the owner had plans for maintenance already. We will probably stay here again!

Amazing family getaway!

My husband and I stayed with our 4 kids, and a couple of their friends, and our dog for our family vacation. The house fit us all comfortably, the pool was great, the views were beautiful, and being just steps from sand/beach and water was the best part. The beach was quiet, not crowded at all, it was nice to be away from all the "hustle and bustle". A 15 minute drive into town had everything we needed for shopping, groceries, and restaurants. The host was very accommodating and replied quickly. Thank you for an amazing getaway.

Wonderful house and location

This house had enough room for 10 of us. The access to the beach is great. The outside shower made it easy to clean off and clean off toys after going to the beach. Our kids enjoyed being able to swim in the pool or ocean whenever they wanted. The kitchen is well equipped- so breakfasts and lunches were easy to prepare. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning watching the dolphins and having breakfast. There are good restaurants and small shops in driving distance. All the ingredients for a great week!

Family Beach Trip

We had a wonderful family beach trip! Our daughter, son and his wife and 8 month old son were with us. It was wonderful being able to just walk out to the beach or go to the pool. Didn’t have to walk far to get things out to the beach or come back and forth. We were close enough that when the baby needed to nap, nobody missed out on anything. He had a wondering first beach trip as well! Thank you so much!!

This was most filthy vrbo I have ever stayed in. I considered leaving when we got there. However, after driving 10 hours, not having another place to go, and the prospect of fighting for a refund, we decided to clean it as good as we could and make the best of it. The moldy shower was so gross we had to wear our flip flops in the shower. The faucets in every sink and tub were covered in grime. There is absolutely no way the floor had been mopped at all. The toilets had not been cleaned and one of the seats was cracked so that if you sat on it, it pinched your skin, which was so annoying and gross. There is no way a sane person would have used their cookware to make a meal so that option was out. The coffee pots were gross so I had to go buy instant coffee. The carpets had pet stains all over them. I am sure that’s what it was because my dogs are normally housebroken but kept sniffing the stains wanting to use the carpet and we’d have to grab them and run outside with them. I asked twice for the pool heater to be turned on and it never was. I’m not a germaphobe, but I felt like one staying at this house. It was awful. I have pictures to prove it. The pictures are from when we got there.

Pleasant and Accommodating Stay

The property was great! The owner was super accommodating to all of our needs. The home is as described and includes beach chairs, a beach umbrella, paddle board, and kayaks. My only two complaints, are, first that when we arrived, after check-in time, the home had not been cleaned yet. However, I contacted the owner and he quickly sent over a cleaning crew to remedy the situation. Second, the master shower drain clearly needs to be cleaned out, the water almost went over the edge every time I showered because the drain in the shower drains so slowly. Besides those two hiccups, I'd recommend this property to anyone and commend the property owner for taking such great care of his occupants. Thank you for a wonderful beach trip!!

Amazing Beach Location

We have been vacationing along the panhandle for two decades. This particular stretch of beach is awesome. It is super quiet, the beach is wide and stretches for miles. The beach is also dog friendly which was great for us. Being away from the hustle and bustle of bigger towns was a nice change. Port St. Joe is maybe 15 minutes away and has a nice small strip of shops and restaurants (and the piggly wiggly). Cape San Blas is awesome and also only maybe 20 minutes away from the house to the state park which is breathtaking. We took our two kids (10 / 8) for 8 days. During our visit we had friends come down for a few days and grandparents come for a few days. Most days were beach and pool days. If you are looking for a secluded stretch of sand to hang your hat for a while, this is the place! The house itself is nice. We spent most of our time out on the balcony's overlooking the beach. Kitchen is well stocked. House is very comfortable. Owner was SUPER responsive. My kids started counting on day one and I believe the final number of dolphin sitings was over 50 during the course of the week. We would definitely go back and highly recommend this spot!

Perfect Getaway!

The home and location was perfect. Beautiful view of the beach from the deck and had the pleasure ordering watching dolphins swimming back and fourth daily. The swimming pool was also a nice treat for a night time dip and Matthew was the best host.
