We had a wedding at the Retreat on the River and this tiny home was the perfect location for us. Super clean and very cute. Great communication and easy booking
Cute tiny home with details added. Suitable for active couples. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit every night with accent stream lights. Mountain Laurels all around.
Awesome little tiny home! Had everything we needed. Loved the seclusion and all of the shade on the lot. Would not stay here with small kids though due to the landscape and unlevel lot. The driveway is a bit scary, but the spot is absolutely perfect for adults! Walking to the camp store near by is also a huge bonus. The owners were great and the home was nice and clean.
This tiny home was a great spot tucked into the woods of north Ga. The home is clean and neat and provides all you need to get away and unplug from the world. You do need 4 wheel drive to get in and out but we didn't mind. Loved our time in this place ❤️.
Very secluded which I loved! Very peaceful. The steep drive to the top is very difficult and if you do not have 4 wheel drive I would not attempt. Everything was great the only feedback I have is there were zero paper towels so we had to use hand towels to wipe down counters after cooking.

Tiny Nirvana
We enjoyed our visit but there are a few things that should would have made things better. The description said that the property sleeps 5 . Maybe 2 adults and 3 children but would not work for 5 adults. The driveway is so steep we could barely carry our cases down. I parked on the road near the power box. The air conditioner was weak and the lofts were very warm . We did our best to adjust the temperature but nothing helped. I think the fact that there are no window coverings allowed the place to get hot. Overall, it was fine .
The home was quaint/cute, the area was completely draped in confederate flags.
The tiny home/stay was good.
Getting there is a challenge, I can't imagine being in a car.
I drive a Jeep and the turn into the driveway along with the grade into the driveway was extremely steep. I actually got stuck and ended up sliding downhill the driveway because of the slope/angle, and gravel on top of the concrete... so BE CAREFUL.
On another note, the directions read - "when you come to a fork in the road, you will be 'greeted' by a flag."
What's not said, is that it's a big ole confederate flag, surrounded by other confederate flags most of the way up the mountain.
Not sure I'd consider this as a greeting.
I took a few pics, but I don't see an option to upload pics.
It might be unnerving if you're a family of color... but hey, it's N. Georgia... so I guess it comes with the territory?
This was outside the control of this place but a fair warning.
Also, bring matches and firewood, so that you can enjoy the outside.
Nice little retreat. Getting up the road is not easy for a car. I have a Jeep that had no issue but there are 1 foot runts (more like ravines) in the road.
Coffee pot does not work. I had to poor hot water over the grounds to make.coffee. bring your own.
Nice comfy place
Tiny Nirvana was a wonderful little property. The house itself was immaculate and the owners even surprised us with Valentine's themed gifts and decor. The ONLY two slight complaints I have is that I wasn't aware beforehand that the road up the mountain to the property was so steep and washed out, and the Nest smoke alarm has a motion sensor that lights up every time I rolled over in bed. Otherwise the place was a dream and the owners obviously care about their renters' stay.
Make sure to contact owner first before heading there
Goodness gracious, The route is & was just out of the world. Aside from the crazy rocky road to get to the place - If you're looking to really be ducked off and away, this house is the perfect place to be. Looking forward to go again.
Excellent location and the tiny home is fantastic. Internet can be intermittent and if unfamiliar with the area, would definitely advise having directions handy. Also, the road is a bit of a challenge when rainy,
This tiny home had everything I needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. It was well stocked with board games, fire pit supplies, coffee pods, basic toiletries and even a cozy bath robe. Modern luxuries with the perk of feeling like you are in the outdoors the whole time. I didn't see or hear anyone else around, but yet it was a short drive into the Hiawassee area for kayaking and hiking. Note that 4WD is recommended for the driveway, but the owner provided an alternative place to park so not a huge deal if you don't have it.
