Built in 1896, this historical cottage is full of nostalgic charm, including a large wrap around screened-in porch, a large deck with extensive patio furniture, multiple dining areas, cosy living room, large kitchen with all amenities. The 2nd floor has 4 large bedrooms (2 x queen, 4 x singles, with open ceilings). There is also a freestanding sleeping cabin nestled in the woods containing a bedroom and sitting room. The waterfront has clean weed-free swimming, including a dock with extensive furniture, and a one-slip boathouse. Sunsets are spectacular from the upper level deck, or dock. Two mainland parking spots are included at Crowe’s Landing. The island is shared with three additional privately owned cottages spaced well apart on this 11 acre Island. For renters with a valid Ontario boaters license, there is a 14' Lund aluminum boat with a 9.9hp motor available for use at no additional cost including the first tank of gas.
