Lake Front Cottage with Two Level Boat Dock - Gorgeous Sunsets

This is 1000 sq. ft. lakefront cottage located in a gated peninsula with nearby boat launch. With 250' of lake front, the paved path provides a gentle walk to the double-decker boat dock available for fishing, swimming, and sunning. Dock space is available for a boat or personal watercraft. Water, lights and electrical connections are available on the dock.
All modern conveniences are provided in the cottage including Direct-TV with DVR, 2 TV's, DVD and wireless internet. With hardwood and tile floors, the cottage has one bedroom with a king size bed with a large flat screen TV. Sofa folds out into a queen size bed suitable for 2 additional guests. The cottage features a bathroom with shower/tub combination and a separate private toilet room. The 50' covered porch provides a relaxing view of beautiful sunsets over the lake. Private parking spaces are available for boat and boat trailers less than 30' and is facilitated with a circle drive. A large fire pit is available for guest use.

Outlet shopping is only 45 minutes away. Nearby towns include Seneca, Clemson, Anderson, Toccoa, and Northeast Georgia Mountains for shopping, dining, and antiquing. Upstate South Carolina and the mountains of Georgia & North Carolina offer many hiking trails with waterfalls only minutes away. Clemson's Death Valley stadium is 24 miles from the cottage.

Fantastic getaway!

Wonderful Lakefront Cottage!

This was the perfect cottage for the two of us and our dog! It was actually even nicer than the pictures. The hosts were fabulous and very welcoming! I highly recommend this darling cottage and looking forward to staying again!!

Peaceful lakefront in a clean cottage with great hosts

It's a beautiful quiet point on Lake Hartwell with only 3 homes behind a private gate. The hosts have everything set beautifully and there is plenty of privacy and quiet and a beautiful lake. It's close enough to a couple of small towns but far enough to feel secluded.

Comfy caottage

We loved our getaway in this quaint cottage. We brought out boat and our two boys and had a fabulous times. Our hosts were lovely and the cottage had everything we needed. Would love to return and do it all over.

Immaculate peaceful property

We will be back. This is a large, immaculate one bedroom cottage on a beautiful peace of Lake Hartwell. Kathy and Steve were wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The two-story dock with some partial shade cover made the perfect spot for reading, sunset viewing, and relaxing.

We had a wonderful time!! The home is perfect! You walk in and it smelled so clean!!!!! We have never had that. The bed was perfect which is had to get. The dock was a perfect place to enjoy your day!! Kathy and Steve are great!! And we really enjoyed Ozzie their dog he was so sweet. Thank you for a wonderful birthday weekend!!

A Peaceful, Perfect Getaway.

The cottage was just perfect. Kathy met us upon arrival to show us around. The cottage was immaculate; there was ample kitchenware and cooking utensils. The furnishings were functional and lovely. An added bonus was the washer and dryer. My brother enjoyed fishing off the dock. We visited Seneca and enjoyed shopping and eating lunch in this historical town. We wanted a peaceful, stress-free few days and this is exactly what we found at Kathy and Steve's charming cottage. Recommend it highly.

Great little getaway....

Kathy & Steve are so welcoming & friendly. They are right next door and readily available if you need anything. The home was very clean with everything you need including utensils, plates, cookware, etc. It is exactly as pictured. We enjoyed taking our kayaks and paddleboard out from the dock and I appreciated the shade from the double dock. Steve & Kathy were also very accommodating when we had a conflict with our reservation dates. We would love to stay here again in the future. Our dog, Pepper, enjoyed it too!

Perfect Cottage!

We had a short but wonderful stay at the Lake View Cottage! It was comfortable, clean, and very well taken care of. The kitchen had everything we needed with lots of extra conveniences throughout the house. The area surrounding the home was very picturesque. The lake itself is beautiful and we had a great time relaxing on the dock and swimming. Kathy and Steve were terrific hosts and made us feel really welcome! We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others as well. For local attractions, we really enjoyed Chattooga Belle Farm... delicious food and magnificent mountain views! Also Chau Ram County Park... there are falls, swimming, hiking trails... simply a terrific place to spend a day with your family!

The most relaxing place we have stayed

The hosts, Steve and Kathy are the best hosts ever. The description does not do the house justice. It is beautiful. The master bedroom is spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The dock deck is magnificent. Right in the river with a top deck that is very comfortable. Good chairs with umbrella Bottom deck is covered by the top deck. Great in the rain. Kathy has many bird houses that attract the most beautiful birds. Great to sit on the full length porch and drink morning coffee and watch all the colorful birds. Lake view stay

Loved our visit to the lake beautiful setting and lovely home. Host Kathy and Steve were great. We brought our dog Bella and she had a ball swimming in lake . Hope to go back again next summer for a week and if we do we would definitely rent a boat for at least 4 days.
