Thank you for choosing the Bee & Barb Farmhouse. We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay!
Peaceful, relaxing, spacious quiet place out in the country and a great break from the big city. The spring water is fantastic, probably the best spring water I've had in the US.

Thank you!! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your next visit!
The cabin was nice. The location was more residential than cabin area feel. The cabin wasn't true to the pictures but it had a good vibe. It was clean, cozy, the host was kind and patient. If you're just looking for a great family oriented stay, this is a great place to book. If you looking for things to do outside of the cabin, I'm not sure what's avaliable.

Hello! Thank you for choosing the Bee & Barb Farmhouse for your stay.
We would love to know which pictures convey something different than the actual property.
We strive for exceptional experiences and post pictures so that guests see exactly what they’re booking.
Thank you for booking, any response, and your feedback.
Cute cabin with a huge backyard, and it’s very close to Star Park, which was amazing and super convenient. That said, I do wish the cleanliness had been better. The upstairs room had a strong storage-like smell, and the main bathroom didn’t seem properly cleaned there was a small bar of soap left behind, and there was a noticeable moldy odor that seemed to get worse after showering. The bed cover in the main room also had visible stains. The kitchen also needed more attention. The freezer was dirty with stains, and I had to clean one of the fridge shelves myself because it wasn’t in good condition.Overall, we still had a good time and focused on enjoying the positives, but improved cleaning would make a big difference for future stays.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin, the backyard, and the proximity to the State Park.
We take cleanliness very seriously, so we were disappointed to read your comments. When concerns were raised during your stay, we responded immediately by sending our property manager to inspect the home and address anything needed in real time. Outside of a missed spill in the freezer—which we acknowledge and have since corrected—the home was found to be in clean and ready condition.
We also provided a refund during your stay as a gesture of good faith while we worked to ensure everything met expectations.
That said, we appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, and we’ve reinforced our cleaning checks to prevent any oversights going forward. Maintaining a consistently high standard for our guests is extremely important to us.
Rarely do I stay at a place that I would absolutely love to call my home. This was certainly one of them!! Absolutely beautiful home in one of the most peaceful locations on earth.

Thank you! We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay.
We hope you’ll book with us again next time you’re in the area.
Super comfortable beds and bedding.Great layout.Loved the Christmas decorations, especially the chicken tree topper. Since it was so cold, we were glad for the fireplace and the Dyson heaters. It was so cold in the house when we arrived. The owner was very quick to respond to inquiries. The kitchen had to be cleaned before we could use it. Bring your own water for coffee/tea. Lake water is wretched.
The property manager was very helpful with any issues we had and quick to respond, even when the issue was something we just overlooked. We enjoyed the house and the outdoor deck is amazing. We also love the amazing walk-in bathroom. If you are looking for a great and spacious place to stay near Taccoa Falls College then I highly recommend staying herw.
