About this property

Contemporary town house 6' walk from the ROTONDE

8 guests -4 bedrooms and their bathrooms WC

We rent our very nice house.
Discover our contemporary house of 180m² + small bungalow, comfortable refurbished by an architect in 2016.

It is ideally located 6 minutes walk from the Cours Mirabeau in a small green street very quiet.

The whole house, facing south and refrigerated, opens through large bay windows overlooking a small landscaped garden and a 6X2 swimming pool

Our guests will enjoy 2 large bedrooms with double bed (160X200), one upstairs master suite, the other on the ground floor, a bedroom with 2 beds and an independent bedroom from the main house (bungalow in the garden) equipped with a very comfortable convertible bed.

Each of the bedrooms has a bathroom and Wc; the master bedroom also has a large bathtub and a large dressing room plus an independent air conditioner

Our open-plan kitchen is fully equipped: fridge, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, kettle and dishwasher as well as an independent laundry room with washing machine, dryer and freezer.

A heat pump supplies the refrigerated floor in summer to all the rooms of the house; the bedroom located in the bungalow is equipped with air conditioning.

We have a parking space in front of the house, some free limited spaces on the street, paid parking nearby (La Rotonde)

The house is located 7 minutes walk from the bus station which serves by shuttle the TGV station every 15 minutes, the Marseille airport every 30 minutes, but also the centre of Marseille and all of Provence.

Summer holidays in Aix stay

The property was beautiful and in a perfect location, close to the Old City of Aix-en-Provence. However, there were a couple of disappointments. The house was listed as having 4 bedrooms, it did, but one of them was not attached to the main house, it was in the garden house and looked like it was a sleeper couch. This was not specified. After I booked it, the homeowner said that I was to give them 250 euros in cash upon checking in. This was for the linens. It did not specify at all that the linens were not included and I thought that was an exhorbitant price for 3 sets of sheets, especially when we had prepaid for cleaning. They asked me a couple of times for it, but then dropped it. I let them know that any exchange of money had to be specified prior to the booking of the property and it wasn't right to bring it up after our agreement. The homeowners, or one of there agents, were on the property almost every other day for plant watering, pool cleaning, outside cleaning, etc. so there is a slight lack of privacy. All in all, our stay was wonderful. The house if very well equipped and had everything we could possibly need.

Merci à Linda de ses gentils commentaires sur la maison que nous avons pris plaisir à recevoir Cependant il faut préciser Que la location du linge de maison des draps et des serviettes de piscine est spécialement notifié dans la description de la location de la maison je recommande donc à nos futurs hôtes de bien la lire. D autre part la 4 eme chambre est en photo et l on voit très bien que c est un canapé lit d ailleurs très confortable et plébiscité par nos hôtes cette chambre très confortable dans le bungalow du jardin est toujours très apprécié si l on souhaite être un peu indépendant de la grande maison Quant au passage obligé pour l entretien du jardin et de la piscine il est non seulement indiqué lorsque j envoie le mode d emploi de la maison il est toujours notifié la veille à l hôte Ces passages sont aussi fait pour le confort des hôtes afin d avoir des terrasses balayées une piscine impeccable Et lors du séjour de Linda nous avons dû passer plus de 2 heures de nettoyage après de violentes pluies de particules de sable. Nous nous en excusons et nous serions ravis de laisser l arrosage et l entretien de la piscine à nos hôtes si ils en font la demande afin de ne pas déranger leur intimité
