We loved the location of the property and were able to take some gorgeous hikes right out our door! The farmhouse is very charming. It was a bit musty when we arrived so we opened the windows which helped. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the views were exceptional.
There were no fires laid in either stove so we didn’t have any fires. The kitchen refrigerator was quite warm when we arrived but we were able to get it colder. The dog next door defecated twice in the yard and we picked it up both times. We never saw the neighbors to let them know. We loved the solitude and feel of the home and area and will miss being there! We also.met and enjoyed the couple next door, Ann and Doug. Lovely people! They let us use the landline once!

Great cottage in a lovely part of the Lake District
Cottage was well-kept, a great size for our group of 6, with all the amenities and space you'd need for a great hiking holiday.
In a great secluded spot near a farm, plenty of walks to go on and not too far from Pooley Bridge with a fine selection of pubs to chose from for your dinner.
Would definitely book again.
