About the host
Hosted by Michael Oehl
I am recently retired from my second career and have decided to commit my time to helping visitors explore the Crystal Coast of NC. My wife and I have been married 40 years and have travelled and lived around the world, and consider travel our #1 hobby, with cooking being a close 2d (the kitchen caused me to fall in love with this home). We have 3 grown children. We live on nearby Emerald Isle but have always loved the community of Swansboro, and we finally found a home we fell in love with! We hope you love it too.
Why they chose this property
We have lived on Emerald Isle since 1991 and have been fortunate to experience the wonders of Swansboro since that time. We retired here in 2009 and decided to purchase this Swansboro home after falling in love with the home and its location.
What makes this property unique
An amazing renovation was completed on this home and it is fitted with the best of everything. It is luxurious yet charming; historical, yet replete with many modern conveniences.....truly the best of both worlds
