We absolutely loved our stay. The house was perfect for our needs with plenty of space, every kitchen utensil/appliance you might need, comfortable beds and great outdoor space.
Over we had a good stay. Very big house with lots of room and fairly clean, lost of kitchen tools, but hard to find due to disorganized cabinets. Hot tub had too much chlorine and was uncomfortable to the skin
Beautiful cabin. The owner has everything you need. We had plenty of room for everyone to enjoy time togetheror separate. The location is private, yet close enough to town. Beautiful scenery on the drive to the cabin. You can view wildlife right from the wrap around porch.

This is our second time staying at this beautiful home for our annual holiday trip with our kids and grandkids. Has everything you could want & more- a fully stocked kitchen, second refrigerator, plenty of bathrooms, and beautiful decor, and views.

The cabin needed repairs and a good cleaning. Several things didn't work or were dirty. The Refrigerator went out the first day and we had to use use the second frig downstairs. The hot tub worked ehen ut wanted to, kept tripping breaker.
Our family’s Thanksgiving stay was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we booked, everything was seamless and stress-free. When we arrived, we were greeted by thoughtful Thanksgiving décor and festive touches that made us feel instantly at home. The host went above and beyond—even providing seasonal paper goods, which was such a sweet surprise. The house itself was beautiful, spotless, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. It felt like every detail had been considered to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We cooked, laughed, and celebrated together without a single worry because everything was just perfect. This experience exceeded all expectations, and we are so grateful for the care and effort that went into making our holiday special. We can’t wait to come back again soon!

Thank you Crissy! We are so happy you enjoyed our cabin. Please come back anytime!
The home was very well stocked, and clean. The only problem we had was the propane fireplace would not start, and the hot tub kept kicking the circuit off. Luckily my husband is an electrician, and kept the hot tib running. We had 8 adults and the space was really great. You might also mention that its best to have an AWD car to get up the driveway in your listing. All in all it was a great place and we loved it
Returned to our Franklin Mountain Retreat for a 2nd visit
Loved staying here again. Property is perfection for a mountain stay. Centralized location for Gem Mining, Horseback Riding & River Tubing. Loved relaxing on the back porch. Great home. Will return for visit #3.

River tubing on the Little Tennessee is so fun! For the whole family. Looking forward to your return Beth!
Pleasant stay for the family. Nine and a baby. Cabin is spacious, with plenty of room for cooking and eating. Really enjoyed the hot tub on the deck. Spectacular view off the back deck. 4-5 mile drive back to Franklin, but was worth it.
Our family has had the joy of staying at this amazing home twice and both times were fantastic! There’s plenty of room to spread out while feeling cozy and welcoming at the same time. The location is perfect for quick drives to hiking trails and quaint, downtown Franklin. We also enjoyed staying home and playing outdoor games in the large backyard. Our grandchildren especially loved the hot tub!
We absolutely loved this home. We had 12 adults and 2 children. Everyone was comfortable and not crowded. The pool table and foos ball were a great hit. The drive was winding and beautiful. We were able to enjoy downtown Franklin, Highlands, Glenville Lake, the national forest, thrifting all from our awesome home base.

If you are looking for a family friendly home away from home this will fill the bill. We were a family of 13 with a small dog and could not be happier with our selection of this cabin. It was a little further from the venue we were attending but well worth the drive. The Beswick’s had everything that you could ever need for entertaining 4 year old kids to 75 year old grandparents. We will be booking again for a vacation next year.
This house was perfect for our extended family. It had everything we needed and more. If you enjoy cooking together, the kitchen is roomy and well equipped. Each couple took a night and cooked for the whole group. Besides taking in and enjoying the beautiful view from the living room and porch, there are plenty of other things to do both inside and outside. It was the perfect getaway and we plan to return next year.
Mac Mountain was amazing, felt like home❤️Our group ranged from 2yr to 74yr and we all enjoyed every minute. The owners are great, I can’t think of one thing needing improved upon. From the kitchen to the toys, crib to king size beds, everything well stocked! And the views, the best of NC. Thank you for the memories made, we will be back for more.

We loved having you stay at our cabin. You went above and beyond to keep it clean and amazing, thank you for that! We can’t wait to have your family back anytime.
I would definitely stay here again. There was lots of room for all 15 of us. The wrap-around deck was wonderful. The hot tub was used every night. Not too far from Franklin where there were lots of cute shops and good restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked with all sorts of pots, pans, dishes, plenty of silverware, etc. I highly recommend.

Thanks so much for the review. And we look forward to having you back!
We had a large group, 15 people, and this cabin accommodated us perfectly.
There's plenty of room for play, game room , outdoor patio and large yard. And many bedrooms for quiet time.
This was our first family vacation since COVID and we truly enjoyed having this beautiful cabin to do some bonding time in. We highly recommend it and plan on coming back again. ❤️
