Absolutely one of our favorite homes we've ever stayed in It was perfect for our kids and grandkids and we loved having the hot tub and fire pit on the back deck with fences to contain the children The screened in porch was a favorite and the home was so cozy and clean Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone The driveway is very steep but we had no issues

Thanksgiving 2025
We had a great trip with our 3 children and four grandchildren. The house was very comfortable for all of us and everyone enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. It was easy for us to get to Bryson City to ride the Polar Express. The home owner is very friendly and accommodating.
We enjoyed our stay especially the fire pit and hot tub area. There was a lot of room to spread out. There was plenty of sitting room for the whole family and room to eat together inside. My only complaint was that the screen porch could use a hosing off to freshen it up and remove debris from boring bees.

From the owner: “I’m really glad you enjoyed the space, especially the fire pit, hot tub area, and room for everyone to gather. I appreciate your note about the screened porch. I’ve since replaced the old outdoor carpeting to give it a fresh, clean feel. Thank you for staying and for sharing your feedback.”
We loved the house. The owner was very easy to contact and so quick to fix the one issue we had. I really enjoyed my stay and so did the rest of my family.
This was a great house for our stay with friends. We had 4 small children and 6 adults that all really enjoyed this property. They had it decorated for Christmas which we LOVED, had loads of fun games for us to play, plenty of room for all of us, and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed.
It was a nice house for relaxing and making memories!
We had a great time having our whole family (kids, parents, grandparents) in one cabin for the weekend for our visit to the Polar Express. An absolute favorite was the outdoor area with the almost full wrap around porch, hot tub, and fire pit. We all had plenty of space to spread out to either enjoy playing (kids) or having a few quiet, relaxing moment (adults). The house was well stocked, and it was great for those of us who arrived late to have the outdoor lights on since the driveway is steep. The only word of caution I would give to anyone staying with small kids - do not let them wander out front by themselves as the front yard does drop off. Other than that - the cabin is a perfect place to relax for the weekend without needing to go anywhere else. I'd highly recommend staying here!

The view of the house are amazing. This house will not disappoint. We enjoyed the the night fires, sunsets in the hot tub with Mountain View’s, and the morning coffees on the screened in porch. And the Owner Connie is very helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed our trip just a few things we noticed !
Not very motorcycle friendly with the drive way but we had some good drivers. The water pressure was not good when the other showers were in use.
We had an incredible weeklong stay. Photos don't do this property justice-we spent most of our time (when we were there) on the screened in porches and ate our meals outside. It's super quiet and very peaceful, except for the boring bees that are plentiful outside, but are only trying to get to their holes. We even saw an Elk walking behind the property one day!The final part of the driveway is a little spooky if you don't have 4WD, but it's definitely doable. The owner was fantastic and made sure our visit was exceptional! The kitchen is well stocked. They are very generous with paper towels, dish/clothes soap, and towels, but make sure you bring your own bath soap, shampoo and conditioner. Lots of room in the house to spread out when we each wanted a bit of alone time.We definitely recommend staying here and would gladly book again!

Phenomenal Place
We were a family of ten (6 adults/4 teenagers) and it was more than spacious for us. We had a fantastic stay. The house was equipped with everything we needed. We used the fire pit inside and outside, and the jacuzzi is definitely a must. If you are looking for a quiet place, this is it. You don’t really see anyone around. Few things to consider: driveway is very steep; we had a lot of lady bugs inside, but it didn't bother us; upstairs is pretty warm - make sure to adjust the thermostat. I would go grocery shopping before getting to the house. Overall, house was homey and beautiful.

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
Good but did not reach expectations.
To start, the view from the cabin was amazing. The hot tub was hot and once we bought firewood, the outdoor fireplace was nice. The games provided were great. Other than that, It was a little rough. The ladybugs were expected, but the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired, with the ladybugs actually being in the beds. Some amenities that should be standard were also severely lacking. The grill (which was gas) was empty. When we reached out to the owner about this, we were just told that the person who was suppose to bring it did not make it to the house which was really disappointing. After seeing the lack of willingness to help from the owner, we had to go get a gas tank refill out of pocket. With this, after driving 7 hours to get to the cabin, it definitely did not meet our expectations and the lack of customer service from the owner I would give this place a 3 star. Would not go again.

Aisha, we're sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay at this cabin. The homeowner has high standards for their property and they're sorry that cleanliness concerns impacted your stay. They plan to continue working diligently with their cleaning crew to ensure that this issue does not recur for future travelers. The owner would also like to note that the grill is now connected to the main cabin's propane tank, so we're confident that running out of gas will no longer be an issue. We hope that the generous measures the owner went to after your stay were enough to make up for the inconvenience. Best, the Evolve Team

Overall not so great
This cabin was a little disappointing to us. When we walked in, the ENTIRE doorway was FILLED with dead lady bugs. We managed to get them cleaned up, but withing a few hours they were already back and there were a TON crawling around. We were afraid to eat or do anything around the cabin. TO make it worse, when we went to go sleep, one of the bedrooms were FULL of lady bugs on the comforter. And we were not comfortable using the room anymore. We had a family with kids that had to sleep on the floor because we couldnt use the room. We also had no service, no wifi most of the time, we couldnt do much at all except play board games. The hot tub outside had no light so we couldnt use it much since it was so creepy to be out in pitch dark. Overall, i was very disappointed with my stay and wouldnt go back to this cabin again!

Khushboo, we're sorry your stay wasn't what you expected. The owner takes great pride in their cabin and has shared helpful insight on your stay and their property. First, it is common for ladybugs to be present in this area, however, the owner is taking significant measures to prevent them from entering the house and is purchasing a lady bug house known to mitigate their impact of entering the house. We understand the housekeeper visited the property and determined the house was safe and clean for guests. In regards to the wifi, it is bound to be spotty in the mountains, but the internet company does offer the best service in this area at 5g. Finally, there are plenty of porch lights that will be sufficient for the hot tub area. We are confident this cabin will continue to host satisfied guests. Best, the Evolve Team
Place was exactly as advertised. Very nice property with a jacuzzi and plenty of space for a couple families to enjoy. The only thing that could be mentioned ahead of time is the driveway is exceptionally steep, otherwise it's great!
The place was great. Just as advertised. We really enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. There was plenty of room for everyone. We'll definitely be back next year.
Absolutely loved this house! Having rented many houses over the years, this was one of our favorites. The house was wonderfully stocked & having a garage was a great bonus. The view was just fabulous & we loved not having any other houses close by. Would highly recommend this rental!!
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was really big with room for everyone. It was equipped with everything we needed down to a discount/ member card for the local grocery store! The place isn't new, but it's clean and cozy. I'm originally from this area, so I know how internet and cell service are in the mountains. Be aware going in, the internet and cell service are pretty limited. Also, it's a 20 minute trek to Franklin or Bryson City to get to restaurants and a grocery store. This is a remote spot to unplug and enjoy the mountains! We enjoyed board games, home cooked meals, cornhole, coffee on the amazing porch, ping pong, s'mores, and the hot tub!
We had a family of 8 stay here. The place was exactly as expected. Clean. Kitchen fully stocked with all clean utensils needed. In-line gas grill was working and clean. Hot tub was hot and working and clean. Hot tub towels were even provided. Fire pit is in an awesome location. We were very comfortable and all of the family commented on the great property.
Two things to consider - as you would expect in the middle of the mountains: Definitely print directions and don't rely on cell/GPS. Internet is via satellite and not always super fast.
We would absolutely stay here again.
Very nice property. Everything was very clean with wonderful views and plenty of room for outdoor sitting. We had 10 in our group and no one complained about the space being too small. We would definitely recommend this to a big family or friend gathering.
We had a party of 12 (3 families) for a winter vacation. This property worked well for us. The layout is good and can be rooms can be broken up to accommodate different sleeping arrangements. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and has a generator which we did need because we lost power in the snow storm, but we had zero Issues with the storm. Lots of different table games kept the kids busy. The temperature is hard to regulate when it’s very cold, top of the house tends to be warm, bottom floor tends to be cold - just an FYI. The host is very response and accommodating. Overall this home made for a PERFECT snow vacation for us!
