We had such a lovely stay! The house layout was perfect for our small group. The space was clean and had everything we needed. Not to mention the shops and beach were an easy walk away.
We had a great stay. House was as advertised, clean and even had parking permit and beach chairs / umbrellas for us to use at the beach. Neighborhood is quiet but walkable to downtown Rehoboth. Communication with the host was easy and she was very accommodating.
The host, Kerry, was very helpful both before we went to the location and when we got there. The house was in great condition, with everything very clean. The toys on the 4th floor were a hit with my grandkids. The kitchen is very well stocked with almost every cooking tool you might need. We also appreciated all the items in the garage - bikes, beach chairs, sand toys, and more. The parking pass was also extremely helpful. My entire family really enjoyed their time at this house.
We had a wonderful long weekend at this property and had plenty of room for all us to enjoy our stay. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had, both before we arrived and while we were there. Check in and check out were very easy, and flexible, based on the schedule of the other renters around our stay. The only drawback was the traffic on Rehoboth Ave which was the only way to leave and enter the unit. It was a holiday weekend, so we did expect heavier than normal traffic.
My wife, three teenage daughters and I had a wonderful stay at this property in Rehoboth Beach. The location is great - inside Highway 1 - an easy stroll or bike ride down to the Boardwalk.
Check-in and entry/exit was a breeze with a code-activated lock on the door. Host Kerry was super fast to respond to questions and came by to drop off a Rehoboth Beach parking pass (immensely helpful during the busy summer season) and an extra bike lock. There were five bikes at the home my family used during our stay and the property is very close to some great biking trails.
There’s a nice pool at the complex that we enjoyed each evening after returning from being out all day.
Overall, I’d highly recommend this property and look forward to returning myself.
Kerry was very responsive and answered all questions in a flash!
Canal Landing is so convenient to get to downtown Rehoboth, Rehoboth Beach and Cape Henlopen Beach! We walked downtown multiple times, and the beach was only a short drive.
The 4br, 3.5 bath unit was perfect for our group of 4 couples. We were together but had enough room to spread out when needed.
We were fortunate the cleaners finished ahead of schedule, and we were able to check in early. The unit was clean and ready to go when we arrived. It is exceptionally well stocked for a rental unit, including paper products, and a fully furnished kitchen. The living room furniture was comfy, as were all of the beds.
There were also beach chairs and bikes available for use. The HEATED pool was perfect for this time of year (we stayed 9/29-10/8).
We really wouldn't ask for a better place to stay, especially with such a gracious host! Thanks Kerry!
Wonderful home, adorably decorated with that beach feel. Rented with another family for the week (8 total) and it was perfect. Spacious loft with bunk beds for the kids upstairs and the two masters with a deck and patio were an added bonus. Had all the necessary items for our stay. Other than the linens and groceries, we didn't have to bring a thing! It was great to have beach chairs and an umbrella handy for use from the garage. The pool was awesome! The kids loved it. So quiet and clean and we had it mostly to ourselves. The most might've been 8 people at one point, which was rare. Walking distance to the grocery store, many restaurants, a cute little bakery and a diner up the street. We also walked to the beach once or twice but used the parking pass most of the time. The dock and trail right outside the backyard is a hidden gem! The boys enjoyed fishing out on the dock over the canal. Great scenery for pictures! The enclosed main deck was great for eating lunch/dinner outside or ending the night before going to bed. We also enjoyed grilling and playing games off the backyard lawn and patio. Great communication with the owner and property manager. We felt very comfortable and very happy to be able to get away during these challenging times. Wonderful vacation for our families. Could not be happier!
Location was fantastic, walking distance to downtown (1 mile) and beaches. Nice quiet friendly town home community. Residence was perfect for us...we had 3 adult parents and 3 17 year old girls. So, girls stayed up top in the bunk room and each adult had a Queen bed and access to bathrooms were perfect. Didn't get a chance to use any of the toys in the garage (bikes, beach chairs, etc) - Having access to a pool was great. I would recommend it to any decent size group (We were only 6, but, if we had spouses - would have been 9 comfortably) Easy access to property through electronic code. Coordination with linens company worked well. (Gale Force). Didn't use kitchen much, but, did brew coffee every morning, stored things in Fridge for grab and go. It was perfect for us. Thank you.
My family and I had a good stay overall at this townhouse, but there were some disappointments. The pros - it's in a great location - close to the beach and main downtown area - but nestled in a quiet townhome community. The house itself has plenty of space for big families. Excellent, fast, and reliable communication with the property manager, David. He's a great troubleshooter and overall fantastic.
The cons -- bugs. There was some kind of bug/roach infestation in the ground floor bedroom and we ended up killing at least 5 of them over two days. That was very unpleasant. The good news is that David was very responsive and immediately scheduled the exterminator to come, but still...not great to have to deal with on your vacation. Also, some of the appliances and utensils needed to be updated. For such a large house I just assumed that the place would be outfitted with everything you need to cook for a large family but some important things were missing or broken - like there was no dish rack, pans were really scraped up and needed to be replaced, etc. Again, I suspect if previous renters had notified David of these things, he would have done something immediately. But nobody before us made the effort to identify the things that needed to get fixed. Hopefully the next renters will have a better experience than we did.

Hi Therese - thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. Your stay was the first time we’ve experience any bug issues (either during personal stays or with renters). I personally wouldn’t characterize 5 bugs in one room an “infestation” but I do understand they are not welcome visitors! As for the appliances, they are all exactly as pictured, clean, and in excellent working order. We do not have a dish rack as to minimize countertop clutter, and that is a common practice in rentals. The pots and pans are being replaced for the summer of 2023, and we will do an inventory to replace any other missing kitchen items. We are glad you enjoyed Rehoboth!
I stayed at this home with my husband, 5 children including a newborn, and my parents. The house was perfectly located close to the main road and within walking distance from the beach. The home was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed and the owner was always easy to contact. Would definitely recommend this location to others.
Seven of us stayed at this wonderful townhome for 4 nights. The home is lovely and very well equipped. Plenty of room for everyone and lots of room for us to gather for dinner and relaxing. Easy access to the beach - and a beach parking pass was provided! David , the property manager is a dream to work with. He provided lots of tips and tricks on how to get around and answered any questions in a nano second. We used the bikes quite a bit and having beach chairs, umbrella and toys was just wonderful
Did a short trip with the kids before school starts and had a great time. Place was clean, spacious, well maintained. Pool was a great bonus. Down the road from the beach and town center. Lovely rental!!
The title says it all. It is just like the pictures and description. The property was so comfortable, the location is convenient to everything. It's quiet and easy to relax. The kitchen is well appointed. The internet is great. THE BEDS ARE COMFORTABLE. The pool for the community is fun. We will be going back!!!
Some things to know that don't take away at all:
1) bring extra blankets - they have some, but I would recommend bringing more
2) they have an Xbox but we couldn't find any games so maybe bring your own or just be ready to log into your Microsoft account if you want to use it.
We found this listing for a last minute get away before our kids went back to school. We were so pleased we did. It started with great communication by the property manager prior to our stay. Upon check in, the home home was impeccably clean which is so important especially now! The location was just off Rehoboth Ave. it is walkable downtown to shops and restaurants but it is a lengthy walk. The home was perfect for us and will definitely consider this property for our next getaway!
My family of four had a great time at this Canal Landing townhouse. It's very spacious and sunny, and one night we enjoying the sky full of stars and full moon from the master balcony. The beds are really comfortable and the kitchen had all the cooking supplies we needed. We plan to rent here again.

Thank you, Kristine! We can't wait to see you in Rehoboth again soon!
When I saw all the amenities this townhouse came with - and it’s location - we were one click away from renting the perfect vrbo for our group!
We had 3 families, ages ranging from age 5 to grandparents. The spacing of bedrooms just really worked for us. Grandparents got peace in the first floor master - busy, early rising boys in the loft! After a great breakfast (with enough seating for everyone, we were off to have fun. We were able to shuttle to the beach in 1 minivan, using the included parking pass (avoiding feeding the meters), crab or fish at the private dock, swim at the community pool, or drive to the outlets. Perfectly situated in walking distance to a restaurant and bakery, this rental was awesome!
The property manager was available for anything we needed during the trip - thank you again!
We will look to book this property again.
