We were very pleased with our stay there Birkie week. The house was nice and everything worked fine. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Being able to bring our dogs made the trip that much better.
We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The property is very clean and comfortable. The location is private with a great view of the woods. Close to OO for skiing. We would definitely come here again.
I love late fall Musky fishing. Finding a place to stay mid to late October on the Chip is next to impossible. Luckily, I discovered this place. Very nice. I’ll gladly stay here again. Pretty close to a couple of restaurants that stay open late in the season. It has a very nice kitchen, but for those who chuck large lures all day, you know you don’t feel like cooking at the end of the day. Anyway, I put it on my stay again list.
Beautiful area and just far enough outside of town to have the north woods feel!
The cabin was extremely clean and ready for us upon check in. Property management was very responsive when we had questions or concerns. We will surely be visiting the area again soon!
This is our 3rd or 4th time at Little Cabin and we love it. Its clean, cozy and exactly what we need to escape to serenity. Communication is always top notch. I worked remote for 2 days and internet never failed me. Highly recommended by us and we will be back!
Had a great stay at the cabin! Super location, very well equipped and clean cabin and good fishing! It was very nice to be able to leave our boat at the dock only minutes away from the cabin. The AC worked great, beds were comfortable, had tv and all the amenities of home. Would definitely stay again! Thank you
Great spot for snowmobile trip. 15-20min trail ride out of Hayward. Right on the Chippewa Flowage. The trail is right on the road. Cabin is nice and clean would sleep 4-5 adults comfortably in their own bed/ futon. I will be back in the future.
The inside was very nice and spacious, and the outside is wonderful with the fire pit close to the cabin and an outside table underneath the pergola. The only drawback was the high table & high chairs, so it was difficult for some of us to sit at. Thankfully, there was a card table and chairs that we could set up in the living room.
Great place for family of seven. The location of the house is great for bringing your pets and not being around other people. The location of the dock is a bit of an inconvenience but works. Internet was out for almost the entire week we were there we didn’t really miss it. Except for playing music from spotify. Lol. Thank you for sharing your home. Clean and well equipped.
The house was great for what we needed. The space is nice and the grounds are really pretty. It's really nice to have a dock available to park a boat for the stay. The dock was difficult to find though, because the reflector that was supposed to be on the dock was gone. Also, the house is not close to the water and the neighbors we encountered were not nice. One man was sitting in his front yard holding a gun, which was a little scary. Also we had a run-in with a man at the Dun Rovin property who threatened me.
Very nice well stocked kitchen
When a group of guys come to fish or hunt they would like to watch some sports on TV. That was not possible. DirectTV was not activated. Therefore I won't be bring my friends back.

Rough start, but good location
This is my 2nd stay at the cabin so I had the same expectations as before. But when we showed up the places hadn’t even been cleaned! We waited a couple hours after contacting company to get back in. Still dirty and no thicker blankets available as they were taken to be laundered. Price also increased a lot from last years trip. Good parking and location to lakes we were fishing. Make sure to bring your own towels and bath stuff along with TP. We got left a half a roll !
This is a very nice and well-kept cabin. We had 3 adults all week and 4 other adults were there a day or two, but not all at the same time. You could not sleep 7 adults as the ad says unless 2 adults will sleep in a double and on a futon.
We had some minor issues, which I left notice about in the guest book. You might want the cleaning company to clean the stove top. We didn't find the extra blankets and it was cold the first days we were there. The furnace/AC is weird, but so was our weather. I would not stay in this cabin if you are planning to fish. Loved the porch and the fire pit!

Kinda disapointed !
The Little House in the Big Woods is a nice place ! Everything was well , but when the first night i was in the 2nd bedroom with 2 beds i was going to watch the TV and guess what the TV was broken like it was dropped ! well i tried to contact Manage Cabins and left a voice message with no reply , so the next thing my watch dropped on the floor in the same room and boy look at all the dust and food under the beds , Wow for someone who charges 150 dollar cleaning fee , i was pretty disapointed we got to stay in that ! I tryed calling again and still no responce !

Our experience was interesting to say the least.
We enjoyed the cabin itself, however the yard was unkept at best. Lots of weeds and the lawn hadn’t been mowed in a while. Interior could’ve been cleaned better, especially since you’re charged a hefty price for “deep cleaning” due to COVID. I personally killed about 15-20 bees inside the cabin through-out the weekend. I will say that once I contacted the manager they worked quickly to get the lawn mowed and offered to have the cabin cleaned. We denied the cleaning as we didn’t want someone in working around all of our belongings that had already been unpacked. The water access is a bit of a pain ONLY due to having to haul what you need to the boat each time. Otherwise it is well protected from the elements and is on the best body of water in Wisconsin. Boat launch is very close to the dock too, which was a plus. The location of the cabin is very private and overall we all had a positive experience. We will probably rent it again in the future.
We definitely enjoyed our stay location was great house was cute and cozy. We had a couple back out so we all got separate room which was great. Also great location being in the middle of everything close to town and hiking areas. We will book again!
