A 100 m² Provençal-style villa in a wild and peaceful setting, secluded from prying eyes. Outdoor pool open from June through September. The entire ground floor is reserved exclusively for you. There are two bedrooms, each with a double bed (plus a bunk bed in one of the bedrooms), as well as a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Two terraces, north- and south-facing. Very well-equipped kitchen. Views of the hills and mountains, surrounded by nature at the foot of the Maures Mountains. 5,000 m² property. Close to the French Riviera. Shops and amenities are a 5-minute drive from the centre of the village of Gonfaron.
This house, which is my primary residence, was built in the late 1970s by my grandparents on a 5,000 m² lot featuring a pool area, an orchard, and ample parking. It is intended for year-round, everyday living, and its interior design combines the modern, minimalist style of the era—sometimes a bit kitschy—with a warm, inviting feel provided by the wood panelling and open fireplace. This house is decorated with various items connected to my family’s history and the people who have stayed here. It’s a house full of stories.
You’ll find a small library with books, hiking maps, books about the region, local flora, cooking, board games, and more...
The accommodation consists of two bedrooms, each measuring 12 m²:
- one bedroom with a 160 cm double bed and a cot
- one bedroom with a 140 cm double bed and a bunk bed
A large living room with a sofa bed allows you to host guests or accommodate three couples in separate areas.
A dining room with a large solid-wood table for 6 people.
The kitchen is very well-equipped; you’ll find all the essentials as well as speciality utensils for cooking enthusiasts.
A bathroom with a toilet, sink, bathtub, and shower.
The south-facing terrace is very spacious, sunny, and sheltered from the wind. It overlooks the hill, the trees, and the birds. There’s a mosaic table for 6 people, umbrellas, and lounge chairs.
The smaller north-facing terrace opens onto the valley, and on clear days, you can see the mountains of the Hautes-Alpes in the distance.
You can access the upper floor of the house via an interior staircase or an exterior staircase. The main entrance is through a door on the ground floor.
The ground floor and the garage are not accessible.
The two areas—the ground floor and the ground floor—are completely separate and accessible via independent doors.
A large parking area on the property, in front of the house, provides space for three cars.
You can get around on foot or by bike in the area, which is quiet and has very little traffic.
The village centre is a 5-minute drive away.
The pool is open from early June through late September.
