This is our 2nd time staying at this resort. As always, the host(s) were very friendly and responsive. Our A/C stopped working and they immediately fixed the issue. Very comfortable and clean rooms, excellent boat watching property on the river. Highly recommend.

Exceptional

I can not say enough good about this property, the owners, or the beautiful and charming setting. The owner reached out to me prior to my visit to ask if I was interested in a room upgrade to one with a waterfront view, at no extra costs, due to a last minute cancellation. When I arrived, I called due to a question, and the owner Wendy was so kind and responsive. The room was so nice and the views were exceptional. We went to neighboring Saint Micheals one day, enjoyed a dinner and breakfast on the last day at Robert Morris Inn, but spent most of our time enjoying the views. Reading in the chairs bayside with a book and watching the sunset with wine we’re spectacular. Definitely worth a trip and I’ll be sure to book again when I’m looking to stay in the area.

Dear Justin, Thank you so much for your exceptional review — it truly means a lot to us. We’re delighted that your stay was such a memorable one, and we’re glad the complimentary upgrade to a waterfront suite made your visit even more special. When we’re able to offer those last‑minute surprises, it’s always a joy to see how much they enhance a guest’s experience. Wendy will be touched by your kind words. She takes great pride in being responsive and welcoming, and knowing her care made a difference is wonderful to hear. We’re also thrilled that you enjoyed the charm of Oxford, your visits to St. Michaels and the Robert Morris Inn, and those peaceful moments reading bayside and watching the sunset with a glass of wine — that’s the magic of Sandaway at its best. Thank you again for sharing your experience and for your intention to return. We would be honored to welcome you back anytime you’re in the area. Warm regards, Ben Gibson – 3rd Generation Owner, Sandaway Suites & Beach
