The house was very clean, well kept. Everything we needed was there. From being able to rent a boat and have it delivered, to adjusting check in and check out times to accommodate our trip better, everything was great.
The house felt like home! Perfectly comfortable, there is nothing more you could want/need. The owners are great at communications and very helpful. This is a real gem!
Attended a friends wedding at Castle Farm. Chose the Cottage as an alternate to hotel.
Loved the view and ambiance of the home.
It is a wonderful place.
It met every expectation regarding setting, convenience and accommodations. It was a perfect match for our one month stay. Owners Regina and Jim are delightful hosts and helpful in every respect. We highly recommend this rental and would certainly visit here again.
The location was really great and was conveniently located near the town of Snow Hill, which was also a very nice place to visit. The house was clean and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Also, there was a ping pong table in the garage, which was a hit with the kids!
This property is lovely. We throughly enjoyed our stay. Everything we needed was on hand and the cottage is super clean. The host provided lots of information about the local area and the cottage has nice touches of local and eastern shore history. The view of the river is awesome and the cottage property is beautiful. We saw beautiful cypress trees, cypress swamps and had a great visit to assateague.
My wife and I were very impressed with this rental home. It was very clean and everything worked well. We loved that the host set out guides to local attractions and a book with some of the history of the home, farm, etc. And the views of the river were just amazing!
Beautiful house complete with everything you could need. An absolutely gorgeous river view and the nicest of hosts. Very private and quiet. We LOVED it!

About the host
Hosted by Regina, Jeff, and Jessica Royer
Regina and Jeff are both retired educators. Jeff taught high school biology for 36 years. Regina was a professor in the education department of Salisbury University. Jeff stays busy maintaining the farm and two houses.. They keep fit boating and kayaking on the river as well as biking throughout the areas roadways. Much of the area's shoreline and forests are owned by the Nature Conservancy, a tribute to the area's scenic beauty.
Why they chose this property
Regina’s Mom and Dad built this house on the farm in 1981 and Regina and Jeff built a house and moved to the farm in 2015. Many family crab feasts and Christmas dinners have been held at the Cottage. Unfortunately, Mom died in 2013 and Dad died in December, 2019. Not yet ready to sell the house, they have decided to share this beautiful setting.
