House with breathtaking view of the mountains

Beautiful luminous and atypical house with a central patio allowing you to enjoy the outdoors from all the living rooms.

Located in the quiet of the small village of Adast, the house is ideally located at the confluence of several valleys. For hikers: the cirque of Gavarnie, Cauterets and the Pont d'Espagne, Estaing and its lake. For cyclists, mythical passes: Tourmalet, Aubisque and Hautacam. Finally, the Gaves greenway which connects Lourdes to Cauterets is 50m away: ideal for bike rides and on foot.

The large living room allows you to enjoy a breathtaking view of the mountains, in particular the Hautacam, the peak of Viscos and the valley of Luz, thanks to its large bay window. It is now equipped with an air conditionner.

The kitchen is equipped with recent equipment and opens onto a dining room with high ceilings and exposed beams as well as an intimate lounge.

On the ground floor: 1 large bedroom with its own bathroom and WC. 2 other large bedrooms on the opposite wing with a bathroom and a toilet.

Upstairs: a bedroom with 3 single beds, with its own toilet and sink. Equipped with an air conditionner.

End of stay cleaning is not included.

Perfect location and large house that comfortably accommodated our family. Very quiet and right off the bike path. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Beds were typical for Europe, but considerably hard for us Americanized sleepers. Giving 4 stars because original listing did not detail cleaning requirements prior to departure, linens not included (although our long term stay did include them), and cleanliness of some areas required our attention upon arrival (shower needed scrubbing, cobwebs/spiderwebs and dead bugs needed sweeping). Overall we had an incredible stay.

Presque parfait

Séjour agréable dans une grande maison comme on les aime jamais située très loin de ce qu’il y a lieu de visiter dans une région. Points d’effort :Nettoyage des vitres et renouvellement tonte de la pelouse pour séjour d’une durée supérieure à une semaine. Équipement à compléter par un presse-agrume et par une petite tondeuse électrique à mettre à disposition pour tondre les 40 m2 du patio.

Très belle maison confortable pour un séjour en famille

Location magnifique conforme au descriptif.Très grandes chambres, literie confortable, coins détente, beaucoup d'espace ce qui permet à chacun de bien se reposer.Le logement est très bien équipé, il ne manque rien en cuisine.La voie verte toute proche permet aux sportifs de partir très facilement pour un footing ou une promenade le long du gave... magnifique :)Pas de commerce sur place mais tout près à Pierrefitte (2 minutes), ou à Argeles (10 minutes) avec deux marchés par semaine, très proche de Cauterets à 20 minutes.On a passé une excellente semaine, merci à Chantal pour l'accueil et la présentation des trésors de la maison.Contact également très facile avec le propriétaire dès qu'on a une question.

Hébergement remarquable

Pour une famille nombreuse la maison est parfaite. En hiver l'emplacement permet de rayonner sur plusieurs sites (Hautacam, Pont d'Espagne, Luz Ardiden... et si en plus il y a de la neige c'est parfait pour ceux qui aime la balade en raquettes. La maison est bien équipée, bien chauffée. Des commerces sympas à d'Argelès Gazost . Vacances réussies !

Casa ideal en sí misma y para conocer la zona.

La casa es amplia, luminosa, confortable, con todos los detalles que hacen que te sientas como en casa. La distribución de las habitaciones y demás estancias permite tener al mismo tiempo intimidad y sociabilidad. La disponibilidad de jardín y barbacoa es un plus. En cuanto a la ubicación, es ideal para conocer toda la zona (Cauterets, Gavarnie, Pic de Midi y tantos otros rincones naturales de una belleza increíble). El trato con del propietario y con Chantal ha sido fluido y cordial en todo momento. En definitiva, una casa recomendable cien por cien.

De superbes fêtes de fin d'année

Dés l'arrivée nous nous sentons très à l'aise, chacun a su trouver son "petit" coin dans cette très spacieuse demeure. Très bien équipée, rien ne nous a manqué, maison très fonctionnelle. Cette maison bénéficie d'une lumière et d'une vue exceptionnelle sur la montagne grâce à ces grandes baies vitrées...un régal. Elle est également très calme, c'est très appréciable pour le repos. Le propriétaire a su satisfaire notre demande de décoration particulière pendant les fêtes de Noël, un grand merci à Chantal pour son accueil chaleureux.

Vaste maison pour 2 ou 3 familles

Très vaste maison idéale pour deux, voire 3 couples avec enfant(s). L'espace de vie central est plus que spacieux avec un énorme lieu de séjour, une grande salle à manger accolée à une cuisine bien équipée et encore un petit selon très agréable. Aux extrémités, 2 espaces nocturnes (3 chambres au total) séparés et indépendants avec WC, dont l'un possède une petite douche et évier et l'autre une salle de bain, avec éviers et une grande baignoire en coin, sans compter une chambre supplémentaire pour 3 adolescents, avec WC, à l'étage. En plus, il y une grande buanderie où vous pouvez placer vos vélos et autres objets volumineux. Question équipements, vous disposerez de tout le nécessaire dont 2 frigos avec espace congélation. Le petit plus est la vue somptueuse sur la montagne et le petit patio fermé et protégé pour les petits enfants. Adressez vous au propriétaire pour connaître les éventuels services payants en supplément du loyer. Assurément l'idéal pour 2 familles et enfant(s) pour être parfaitement à l'aise. Le lieu est central comme accès à de nombreux grands cols mythiques (jamais plus que 40 km à parcourir). Pas de soucis pour trouver à proximité de nombreuses activités diverses et des établissements divers, comme magasins et restaurants (Argelès, Pierrefitte, Luz). Accueil dynamique et plus que sympathique sur place par Mme Chantal. Attention, ça déménage ! Bref, vous y serez bien. Petit bémol pour Abritel (pas le propriétaire): les frais administratifs sont plantureux.

Gite très calme et confortable, avec un salon lumineux très agréable offrant une belle vue sur les montagnes, et un patio intérieur bien pratique pour une sieste tranquille "dehors tout en restant dedans".

Grande maison propre et bien agencée. Idéalement située pour rayonner sur tous les sites à visiter. Manquer juste un peu de mobilier de jardin, vu avec le propriétaire qui devrait s'équiper prochainement

Beautiful views

The property is in a great location, easy to get to once you have made your initial arrival. We were met by Chantal, who is a lovely friendly lady, and showed us where everything was. Big clean rooms with plenty of amenities. The living area has amazing views with an air con unit, which was much needed as our trip included the extremely hot spell in the middle of June. Word of warning, the master bedroom has curtains instead of doors for the shower cubicle and toilet (I appreciate we British are bit ‘funny’ about toilets 😂 - we don’t share public toilets like the French ones) but there is a lock on the bedroom door 😉. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the surrounding areas. I wouldn’t use the fuel station in the village as it is extremely expensive! All in all we had a fabulous time and would 100% recommend this lovely property.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille (adultes, enfant, ados). La maison est vraiment spacieuse, très propre, très bien équipée et idéalement placée. De nombreuses activités possibles pour tous les âges, et toutes les conditions physiques. La voie verte est située à 50 mètres de la maison c’est parfait pour la marche quotidienne. Les stations d’Hautacam, Gavarnie, Luz-Ardiden, Cauteret et barrège sont toutes située à distance raisonnable. Nous retenons, recommandons et conseillons fortement cette adresse, et remercions sincèrement Chantal, et le propriétaire pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse.
