Country Cottage - Sauna, Hottub

Our tastefully renovated Bergerie offers every comfort in
a century old Bergerie (floor heating, Sauna, WIFI...).

The Bergerie is a solitary building situated on 2,5 ha property of meadow and forest, only 10-15km drive from three ski resorts (one being the largest in the Pyrenees), and only 7min from Luz-Saint-Sauveur, a bustling town with many cafes, shops, cinema, thermal spa and much more.

The Bergerie is rented throughout the year. In winter, it is ideal for winter sports (skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing ...) and in the summer it is a great base for beautiful hikes through canyons, high mountains and vast Pyrenean highlands.

The Bergerie sits on a little plateau over the Lassariou river, offering a perfect playground for children and adults in the middle of forests and steep mountain slopes.

We restored the old building of the Bergerie maintaining the traditional architectural elements of the region. The Bergerie keeps its old slate roof, thick stone walls, artistic gables, mixed with modern building materials, kitchen, heating system and large windows offering beautiful mountain views.

On cold days you will love the under floor heating after a Sauna, and will enjoy preparing regional food in the modern kitchen. In summer, you can open the large windows and feel as if you were sitting in the middle of the aromatic mountain meadow listening to the rushing waterfalls of the Lassariou river.

Idyll in the mountains

A wonderful week with family and friends in this well set up house. The property was peaceful, spacious and airy, open plan downstairs and good sized bedrooms - plenty of space for 7 of us. With close proximity to the town, Gavarnie and other amazing places to visit in the area we were spoilt for choice. Communication with the owners and Lydie was excellent as were all the facilities.

Perfect place to stay and relax.

Had an amazing week at the cottage. It was very clean and tidy on arrival. Lydia was great and friendly and very helpful. The cottage is in the perfect location. Very private with beautiful views of the valley and mountains. The cottage had everything we needed. We loved having the goats over for tea at about 6pm for the fallen cherries. 😂. Perfect for cycling and walking. Not too far from Luz saint-sauver.

Magnifique

La grange de Julie est magnifique. Au calme tout en étant proche de Luz et des beaux cirques pyrénéens. La vue est superbe et la bergerie est très bien équipée: rien ne manque : parfait pour un séjour avec des enfants! Nous remercions Lydie pour son accueil chaleureux et ses conseils. Magnifique demeure

Magnifique Bergerie pour les amoureux du calme et de la nature. Proximité très agréable avec les chèvres et les vaches qui arrivent à quitter leur enclos mais qui viennent simplement brouter l’herbe. Un lieu à revenir sans aucune hésitation malgré les difficultés à mettre en route la « dutchtub »seul point de réserve. Bonne Fin De saison

Juwel in der Ruhe

Eine wunderschön sanierte Bergerie in ruhiger Alleinlage mit tollen Blicken, Super-Ausstattung, liebevoller Einrichtung und großzügiger Aufteilung...3 Wochen haben wir es genossen. Wir waren nun zum fünften Mal in den Hautes-Pyrénées, aber nur hier in diesem Kleinod waren wir ganz nah dran an der Natur. Einkaufen in 15 Minuten Entfernung, aber wir hatten genügend Aufbackbrötchen dabei... Danke Julie und auch Lydie, die gute Seele vor Ort...jederzeit wieder!

Un paradis à la montagne

La montagne comme on l'aime

Tout a été parfait, de la communication avec la propriétaire Julie, l'accueil avec Lydie, les prestations de l'hébergement, la propreté, l'emplacement. On a vraiment apprécié les soirées autour du poêle, la déconnexion et la proximité avec les 3 stations de ski du coin. On recommande vivement la bergerie !

Environnement parfait pour les vacances

Une fois de plus super accueil de Lydie, avec de nombreux conseils et une énergie débordante et communicative. La bergerie a tellement bien été rénovée qu'il faut parfois se faire violence pour la quitter! ^^ Les paysages à découvrir aux alentours sont nombreux et magnifiques. Une destination à prendre et reprendre, c'est sûr!

L’excellence: site et location

Tout est aussi beau que sur les photos ! Maison aménagée avec beaucoup de charme. Rien ne manque..très confortable ..nous étions 5 adultes conquis..essayer le bain nordique de jour et aussi à la nuit tombée sous les étoiles fut une expérience inoubliable d’originalité..merci à Lydie pour sa disponibilité et ses conseils..on aurait aimé connaître Julie..peut-être une prochaine fois..

Sehr schönes Haus in den Pyrenäen

Das Haus hat alles, was man sich wünscht. Die Kommunikation war sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Im Haus selbst ist absolut alles vorhanden. Deshalb können wir das Haus jedem empfehlen, der einen abgeschiedenen Ort zum wohlfühlen sucht.

Ce fut un séjour génial. La Bergerie est magnifique. L'environnement est sublime, d'autant plus quand le soleil est au rendez-vous. L'accueil de Lydie est chaleureux. La préparation du séjour par Julie est complète. C'est un sans faute. Nous y reviendrons très certainement. Attention, il faut s'y prendre à l'avance car c'est tellement bien qu'une fois qu'on a l'adresse on a envie d'y retourner. Merci encore pour ce lieux des plus agréables.

Left feeling recharged

We spent a wonderful week at the Bergerie - the weather was between 25-30 degrees everyday! The house was spacious, comfortable, clean and everything we needed. Incredibly private and such stunning views (even from the bathroom window!). The location is fantastic and there are so many hikes and beautiful sights all within an hour of the house. Thank you Julie for a very memorable family holiday!

Wonderful cottage

Morden spacious stylish cottage, my husband and me enjoyed it very much. Very good equiped kitchen, comfortable bed, fast wifi, but most of all we liked wonderful nature around, views of mountains, quitness and privacy. Sitting outside eating breakfast was so relaxing. The cottage is the last on the hill on the private road, feels like you are all alone surrounded by nature. A lot of must see sites and hiking trails within 20-40 min driving. Communication with hosts was also nice and easy. Thank you, Julie, for letting us stay.
