About this property

Ocean Front Blue Water Paradise

Located in the gated compound of Gentle Winds, you are surrounded by tropical splendor from the moment you arrive. Situated on over 60 acres, there are 9 buildings on the grounds and our building is the only one that is truly beachfront and mere steps from the beautiful white sand. Combine paradise with our low prices and your vacation is off to a great start.

This beachfront split level condo has 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms and a full kitchen. 2 of the bathrooms are on the first level and the 3rd is in the master bedroom on the second level. All 3 bathrooms recently renovated.

The master bedroom has a queen bed and it also has a private balcony facing the sea. Bedroom 2 and 3 are on the lower level. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and bedroom 3 has two twin beds that can be converted to a king upon request.

There is a spacious screened porch off of the living area as well as a dining table for six guests. There is also a second floor loft sitting area with a private balcony and convertible sofa.

The Gentle Winds compound is a beautifully maintained property with numerous amenities. An Olympic size swimming pool, 2 tennis courts, basketball court, chipping green, shuffle board, ping pong, game room and a clubhouse are all right on the Gentle Winds grounds. The Beach Shack Bar and Grill serves up tropical drinks and food right on the premises with that touch of island flair. Check or ask for seasonal hours but typically the Beach Shack is closed for September and part of October.

Gentle Winds is located on the North Shore of the island. Christiansted is approximately a 10-15 minute drive where you will find a large grocery store, department store, mall and lots of wonderful restaurants.

When it comes to toiletries we provide items like hand soap, a bath soap bar, laundry detergent, a roll of paper towels and one toilet paper roll per bathroom. Please keep in mind, this is to get you started and will be available once you arrive. If more is needed during your stay, please purchase on your own as necessary.

Gentle Winds (the name of the property) is one of the nicest places to stay on the Island. The Condo was very nice and the kitchen was well stocked. The view from the deck was to die for and was our favorite place to hang out at in the mornings. The pool was very nice. One of the best things was the snack shack next to the pool where I had lunch most days.

Amazing Vacation Spot

This was an "once in a lifetime" vacation for my family. This rental and the experience we had will be turning it into a repeat vacation when we can. The location was perfect in relation all the amenities that is offered at Gentle Winds. The unit itself was updated and the perfect size for my large family to spread out and have there own space to enjoy this vacation how they wanted. Can't wait to enjoy this Island Paradise again!

A week in paradise

There were 6 of us all ages and we love our oceanfront paradise. It was exactly what the pictures looked like stocked with a bunch of supplies, and very clean. I would recommend this place to everyone. It has it all, also our favorites Caribbean Adventures snorkeling at Buck Island, and Mermaid Adventures. Can’t wait to Olán my next trip

Well equipped, nicely decorated. Great location close to the water. Extra fans were appreciated. Manager was quick to respond regarding questions or concerns. Pictures accurately represent the furnishings, but found the first floor beds are much higher than normal (about 36inches from the floor in seaside room.) Overall, a pleasant stay.

Beautiful Condo

We rented 6 condo's for a family vacation and this was by far the most updated and well appointed out of all of them. The pictures don't do it justice, the unit was beautiful. Perfect location with a very short walk to the beach and pool. The shack has the best drinks and great food, I would highly recommend the Ahi nacho's, they were fantastic. if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay I would recommend booking this unit. We will be back.

Condo and overall property were excellent. Views out all northern facing windows and patios were breath taking. Falling asleep to the sounds of the sea was fabulous. Property is impeccably maintained. Beach was even better than expected with sandy bottom and wonderful snorkeling/reef a few steps further out. It truly was ocean front paradise

I would definitely stay at this condo again. Perfect access to the beach, pool, and the Sunny Shack for drinks and food. It was far enough away from the cities to be quiet, but within 10-15 mins from Christiansted when we wanted to venture out. Condo has been renovated recently and was very nice. Ziggy, the community cat, was waiting at our door to greet us many nights. G-man, Boz, and Nick at the Sunny Shack were great with the food and kept my drink cup filled. Will definitely be back!

Nothing is better than being in blue water and listening to the waves lapping all night long. I have always loved the beach since spending Spring Break in Daytona, Florida at age 12. Looking for shells and sea glass are still one of my favorite things to do. My family and friends have had some wonderful times at Gentle Winds and we look forward to returning as soon as we leave.

Why they chose this property

St Croix was the first island we visited with our infant daughter. My husband looked on various islands, for nearly 10 years, and he found Gentle Winds....love at first site. Buying this condo, right on the beach, was one of the best decisions we ever made.

What makes this property unique

The screened-in porch is an amazing way to have a morning cup of java or a cocktail in the afternoon. Each bedroom is very private and having 3 full bathrooms means that no one has to wait! The master bedroom suite has its own patio that overlooks the ocean and is a perfect location for appetizers and beverage of choice.
