It was the property as listed it was very good, would recommend to all whom would like to stay.Enjoyed ourselves and it was a safe property for our dog
Lovely little place, great for 2 couples with separate ensuits. Secure perimeter for those with pets who need to run. Appreciated the AC's on a 40 deg day. Would stay again.
Our stay at the cottage was very comfortable and relaxing. It is a very quiet place to sit back and relax. The cottage is very well equipped with everything and more that you need to help you utilise your stay. The cottage garden is beautiful to look at through the kitchen windows. Added bonus being petfriendly .
Great little cottage which I would rate very highly and will arrange another stay at the cottage next year.
The kitchen was very well appointed with quality
utensils.
we actually stayed here about 9 years back. its been done up really nicely since then. its relaxing and well setup. nice location can easily walk to town or a short drive if you prefer. the host was very quick and easy to communicate with so 5 stars all around for our experience.
Beautiful cottage with absolutely everything you need provided.Great location being very quiet and an easy walk to the Port area which we did twice daily.Made use of the wood heater which was easy to light and worked perfectly.Property is fully fenced so our 2 small dogs could run around outside without managing to escape.Highly recommend

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this beautiful cottage in Port Albert with my wife and our dog. The property was exactly as described cosy, clean and full of thoughtful touches like shampoo, body wash and kitchen condiments that made us feel right at home. Our dog absolutely loved the secure yard, and we really enjoyed the nearby dog-friendly walks and beaches. It was the perfect spot for a bit of R&R. The owner/manager was super responsive and helpful throughout. Highly recommend this lovely stay thank you for such a relaxing experience!
The property was everything we had hoped for plus more. Facilities, cleanliness and appointments left nothing to be desired. The village of Port Albert was a very nice destination but was disappointing in that it seemed to lack social facilities such as coffee shops and or restaurants. That said we enjoyed our stay.
My only comment would be that the steps from the carport to the house need to have a handrail. I have arthritis and found the steps steep and difficult to go up and down, a handrail would have made it far more easily accessible.Possibly also some new frypans!? Everything else was fine and the mattresses were lovely and comfortable.
We loved this beautifully renovated cottage.Sitting on the verandah smelling the roses was a delight! The kitchen was well equipped for our cooking needs.. even having a wooden spoon! We appreciated having milk in the fridge, and condiments in the pantry. The bed was very comfortable, and great having soap and all we needed in the bathroom. Our dog Tina loved the whole place and was safe, with a good ( and fun) fence! We did have a bit of difficulty opening and closing the front gate.We will love to stay there again!Margie Mills
Great area to visit. We spent 10 days and believe we have only just scratched the surface. The house was perfect for us. We had friends stay 2 nights, and the two ensuite bathrooms made all the difference to the ladies. The Panty was stocked with essentials, lots of pillows and blankets, and everything worked and was well-maintained I would highly recommend the house and its location, though not with an outlook, it offered great walks into the countryside and with history to investigate nearby
