The Boat House by Whangamata Marina

Modern two bedroom unit located just across the causeway from the fabulous new Whangamata Marina.
NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to: Clean the house and do the dishes before you leave please remove all rubbish from the property so the bach is left as you found it. Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels);
A short stroll to Moana Point Reserve, 10 minute walk to town or 5 minute drive to the popular surf beach.
The unit features an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area which opens out onto a shade sail covered BBQ area.

The unit is complete with all necessities, including
-new hooded BBQ
-fridge:/freezer
-electric frying pan
- microwave
- hot plate and small convection oven
- washing machine and small clothes line iron and ironing board
- toaster, kettle, plates and cutlery
- puzzles and board games

Just bring your own linen i.e sheets pillow cases towels bath mat and tea towel. Main bedroom has queen size bed and second bedroom has a single bed and a set of bunks.

Parking for two vehicles, unfortunately not suitable for a boat trailer.

Cozy holiday home

We thiroughly enjoyed our stay. Near to the beach and shopping area, but just outside the hustle and bustle. Comfortable holiday home with everything we needed. The children especially enjoyed the board games.

SO GOOD

Such a wonderful stay. Everything we needed as a whānau of 5 plus our dog. Clean and tidy plus roomy! Super comfortable beds too. Literally everything we needed. Close walk to the harbour and. 2 minute drive to town. Such a lovely host too. We will be back!

Great little 2 beddy in Whangamata

We spent 3 nights in this cute little house. It has everything we needed and was in a handy location. Owners were quick to respond to any questions. Will definitely recommend it to others.

3 nights of bliss

on arrival easy access to key, everything was there and the best can opener I have ever used away from home!!! Harry the dog enjoyed the marina and beach walks all in walking distance. and the 2 Op shops were a hit as well. met the neighbours real nice area will be back.

Bright sunny place to relax

The place was a good clean place with everything you need. Upgrade better quality beds, lounge suite slightly higher because was hard for us two older people getting up out of it lol. Clean large bathroom etc. Steep driveway parking.Good for a young family.Over all in a great place great price for what's there.Happy to stay again. Thanks

So handy for parkrun

Perfect location for parkrun; you can see the start/ finish from the bedroom! Was quite cold on a chilly Whangamatā night with just one small electric heater for the whole property but other than that it had everything you needed and was clean and tidy. We don’t need wifi so not an issue for us but be aware if you need to stay connected and don’t have data.

We were looking forward to a much needed relaxing break after saving up for it all year, but unfortunately we weren't anticipating how noisey the road would be so unfortunately had to cut our holiday short due to this.

Winter getaway

Great little spot to escape for a few days. Nice areas to walk, and only a short drive into the main shopping area. Looking forward to our next stay.

Great location with the reserve across the road to walk your fur baby but its on the main road into town so traffic noise, apart from that great stay.
