Property adequate for our stay, probably could do with a good general, clean/dusting, grounds need a tidy/weed Great location for us to the lake. Good all round space and room to park boat.

A great few days

It was a great property as close to the lake and had everything we needed for 3 couples staying. A few things needed a bit of maintenance work done eg window not opening in bedroom, door latch coming off in main bedroom but all in all it was great

Great get away spot

We loved this area of Taupo and really enjoyed the short walk to the lake and of course the lake views from the house. The house was clean, although some areas could do with some TLC, such as duvet covers and curtains. The fire was lovely and there was plenty of wood. The kitchen is well set up and we had fun playing some of the games. I think this would be an ideal bach in the Summer months and would love to come back for another holiday when there is sunshine :)

Great location & view but lacks maintenance & cleaning

A great location, lovely view, quiet street and easy stroll to lake and boat ramp. The property was well equipped but lacked repairs and maintenance with many things broken or in need of fixing and the cleaning was not up to scratch either.

Nice accommodation. The fireplace is so good for this winter. Well maintained kitchen. Good ambiance

We enjoyed the fireplace. Living room is so good with comfy couches and beanbags. Three bedrooms are neat and tidy. Kitchen is also so good. As it’s so cold we didn’t use bbq which is also provided there. Only thing I have noticed that the flush is not working in the upstair toilet. I don’t have any complaint about that as we have a well maintained bathroom in the bottom level. Just want to bring to your attention. We definitely refer this bach to our friends whoever come there. Acacia Bay

We arrived friday night and when setting up both bedrooms found the main bedroom had meldew in the corner from the sliding door and curtains also mouldy. Due to the mold and dampness we could not sleep in the room so moved to the next door room. The other up stairs room had a fire alarm that kept going off so had to remove battery, same thing in the kitchen pantry. The beds that we could use were comfortable and the air con did keep us warm. I put new dish brush and scourers in the kitchen for the next ones. It was good location for us due to daughter in-law 50th around the corner.

Hidden gem

Such a beautiful place with views to die for. My family and I absolutely loved the space and feel of the place. The house is positioned in the most perfect spot, I can see why the host chose to build there, it's picture perfect, this will definitely be #number1 on our list of places to book when coming down to Taupo again 🥰

Short and sweet

We stayed for 2 nights it was amazing in Taupo, enjoyed the coffee machine and left some there too for whom ever wanted it! But it did seem like some general maintenance and deep cleaning was lacking but understand it is winter and not exactly busy season! Thank you for having us in your beautiful home!

Great holiday spot

The house had a great layout and views, the house was a little dirty with alot of little bugs on the surfaces and we couldn't find any extra toilet paper anywhere. Also the light in the master needs a new bulb.

Great accommodation

After a confusing booking with many emails from different sources and poor follow up to queries the accommodation was found to be excellent by all of us. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean but areas of the house dusty. We would like to stay again in the future. Thanks
