Great location and helpful hosts

This was a lovely home located close to Nelson’s town centre and bike trails. It was great for the whole family, and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hosts Charles and Rosemary were friendly and welcoming.

Wonderful location and beautiful architecture.

Our family was only here for one night but the host was most gracious, the house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were happy to be able to walk to town for dinner and some sight seeing. Great location, and only a 15 minute drive to the Nelson Airport.

Stunning central property

Wow - Fabulous Home and Hosts

The property has all the comforts of a modern warm home. The hospitality of Charles and Rosemary was outstanding. Charles is an exceptionally skilled potter and his generosity with this added to our holiday.

Very nice vacation house

Property was very nice, property manager really friendly and helpfull. Vrbo app being the only issue, as second part payment wasn’t transfered as expected and no notification about this issue fra Vrbo. So we had to handle that at check-in, which could have caused us to lose the booking.

Beautiful home and great location

Owners are very involved with the checkin process, asked many personal questions leading up to the stay and were often on the property without notice during our stay. Some people like this level of attention but we found this a bit much. They also threatened to charge us extra fees which came as a shock. Otherwise they were very helpful to accomodate our little one, and this is a great house and location for a family holiday!

Thank you for your review, We welcome families with children, however we do expect to have the children included in your original application. We charge the same for children as adults as the work load and resorces used are the same. I find that it is preferable to have a face to face conversation where there is confusion, as this allowes for some flexability if warranted. We also expect the house to be left in a clean and tidy condition and the guests to leave at the time we arranged. We feel that you left early to avoid having a conversation about paying for your daughter. This created a stressful situation which could have had a more pleasant out come. Charles and Rosemary Shaw.

Beautiful, spacious home, very clean, near heart of city

We had a lovely stay at the home. Our communication with the owners/hosts were great. They live down the street, which was nice. They greeted us at the home, gave us a tour, history of how the house was built and recommendations for things in town. They house was immaculate and felt like it was brand new. there were three bedrooms, which was great as each of our teenagers had their own bed and Ben room. There is no air conditioner, which we knew, but when we opened the windows to get some cool air, it was pretty noisy. That would be the only negative that we have about the house. Everything else was fantastic and would highly recommend staying there.
