Lake Rotoiti Views, Tikitere - Stunning Lake Views
Welcome to Lake Rotoiti Views, a sun soaked holiday home with sensational lake views. It is the perfect holiday destination for couples or a group of friends or family to enjoy and make the most of the lake and local activities.
PLEASE NOTE: We have a temporary issue with access to the jetty - There is currently no access to the lake and Jetty via the stairs from the front lawn. There is however a private boat ramp 500 meters down the road for guests and residents to use where you can access the lake, swim, launch your boat and kayaks.
The holiday home offers
• Sun soaked open plan kitchen/ dining and living area • Indoor - outdoor flow onto a spacious deck • Master bedroom with en-suite and lake views. • Log burner and fire wood for cool winter nights. • Plenty of parking for cars and boats.
Boating access is easy with a boat launching ramp 2 minutes from the house. See note above about access to the beach and jetty - temporarily unavailable.
A great base to explore the many activities Rotoiti has to offer including water sports, fishing, bathing at the Manupirua Thermal Springs (5 minutes by boat), and Okere Falls cafe.
Rotorua airport is 15 minutes and the center of town is 20 minutes by car.

Lovely location to relax & enjoy the views of New Zealand's raw natural environment. The accom has a homely feel & provided most of all we needed to achieve our 7 day experience.
We enjoyed our stay, only one thing to mention The stairsway to lake access was damaged so we didn’t had a chance to feel the lake but overall we loved it. Thank you
The house was set up beautifully and a great retreat to relax. However we found the cleanliness needed some attention. Through the book of rules it stipulated to clean up after each stay, however we found many of these not adhered to. The fireplace was full of ash and part burnt logs. The bbq was absolutely filthy, covered in mould and old food. The grounds had left over cigarette butts and empty alcohol cans laying around. The master bathroom also could use a better clean, especially around the toilet. (Photos taken of all incidents) We loved the location and the house as a great place for a large group, but found a few details could use attention in future.
The position of the house was perfect, with beautiful lake view and NZ natural flora and birdlife surrounding it.
Private and quiet, everything provided.
Would highly recommend this location.

Comfortable but limited water access
Comfortable house - but pity there is no access to the water. There is a boat ramp down the road - but it's not a spot for swimming.

An awesome spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle.
An awesome spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The house is very well set up and has everything you need to enjoy a nice relaxing weekend away. Situated on the lake front its perfect for water sport activities! We'll be back in the future!
Great view, great location. Walked to hot spring waterfall nearby and boiling mud pots. Twenty minute drive to see free glow worms at Okere Falls. Loved the maps on the wall. Biggest complaint is the strong mildew odor coming from the first floor.
The property is in a beautiful location on the edge of the lake. It is well proportioned and fitted our group of 6 easily. Unfortunately, it could do with a good clean. We had to contact the managers when we arrived due to an issue with the alarm. The communication was excellent and the problem sorted quickly, which we were very grateful for.
Great location, clean, great views, spacious & very quiet and private. We had 8 people and fit comfortably. Good cooking facilities too. Had kayaks to use, however had to get them down to the boat ramp so you’ll need roof racks or something similar.
A shame the jetty hasn’t been fixed as we had to drive to the boat ramp to swim. And a few maintenance issues but Russell was relatively easy to contact. Would stay here again just if the jetty was fixed! :) an umbrella for the outside table would also be great.
We loved staying in this bach! Had everything we needed. The space invaders machine got a lot of use (when we weren't out and about in RotoVegas doing the touristy activities)! Ours boys had a room each to themselves. The view over the lake was amazing. The wood burner was stoked up each night to heat up the living area and the upstairs bedrooms. The info booklet was very thorough and we were inspired to go for a walk up to the little heated stream. The kitchen really was fully equipped - could cater for so many people! Every room was clean and tidy. Comfy beds and plenty of blankets (even had oil heaters in the bedrooms). We are definitely keen to visit in the summer time - the indoor / outdoor flow is perfect for bbq's and drinks on the deck. And when the stairs to the jetty are fixed it'd be awesome to take the kayaks down for a paddle. Thank you so much to the hosts for sharing their special piece of paradise!
The house had all you needed. Lots of space, great views tucked away in nature. We naively hadn’t expected the unsealed road or that the jetty was well and truly inaccessible. We couldn’t work out where to take the kayaks to get out on the lake or the ability to walk them 500m.
The house, grounds and view were wonderful. Everything we needed was there, and the host was very helpful. If i texted he got back to me promptly. He was also helpful in making suggestions of interesting places to go and sights to see. Highly recommend, i would stay there again!
Nice tidy place to stay family enjoyed the views and lake would stay again

We've set the property up so that other people can enjoy the Lake Views experience too.
Why they chose this property
We were looking for a holiday home where we could entertain friends and family and were introduced to the area by friends. We immediately fell in love with the lake and the secluded location. The views from the property are stunning and the access to the water and surrounding means there is never a shortage of things to do.
What makes this property unique
Perhaps the best feature is access to so many activities in the immediate area. Exploring, water skiing, biscuiting, boating, hot pools, fishing, kayaking or just bathing.
The area around the house is surrounded by a pine forest which is great for walking, jogging, and mountain biking. The tracks wind their way through quiet pine forest and have great views of the lake.
