The house has great characters itself, and the lake view was stunning. Tim and Hannah were very welcoming and approachable, Tim emailed us the activities list before we checked in. We spent great time on the lake using the Kayak in Tim’s garage. The wood pigeons and Tuis were lovely. We had cozy and relaxing time in the house, planning to go back in Summer time again.

We had the most beautiful stay here. It was so relaxing and peaceful and the house was so quirky and interesting. There was wine and biscuits awaiting our arrival which was a lovely gesture.

Fabulous holiday home, excellent hosts!

Excellent location for a summer getaway, suburb views, great kiwi batch with exceptional hosts. The hot water beach and ability to kayak from the house to the near by hot springs is a bonus! We look forward to staying again.

We loved Tim's place. The views were amazing, the house was cozy, and we loved digging a hole at the hot water beach just below the house. It was magic!

Beautiful couples getaway

Absolutely amazing stay! Lovely views, and was even left with a lovely wine!! Thank you so much, my partner and I especially enjoyed the beautiful view from the deck, and waking up to that beautiful picture on the sunrise. Would recommend a hundred times over- the couples retreat that you would dream of!
