Lovely cottage. Love the history of it. Our doggies loved it Check in was a bit of miscommunication. Water pressure is poor. Perhaps the water pump needs looking at. Beds were comfortable. Fire was amazing
Lovely relaxing place to stay. Very warm in the middle of winter with the fire going. Lots of toys ang games to keep the kids entertained and great to be able to bring our puppy along.
This is our 2nd visit to the Store. Lovely & peaceful fenced off private cottage. Garden is ideal for the dogs to sniff around. Fireplace was well stocked with ready split wood. Cottage is rustick but very cosy. A short drive to village & wineries. Highly recommended.
This is great property, full insulated, very quite and peaceful outlook, queens size bed and 2 single beds and self contained. 1 Minor issue with water pressure in the shower but outside that its a great place stay and highly recommend.
Excellent location for Toast Martinborough. An easy walk home from the last vineyard stop “Runholder”
We enjoyed our stay and loved being able to bring our little dog Alfie with us.
This place is really cute, excellent location as so close to town and wineries. My Mum and I stayed here for a weekend in Martinborough. We enjoyed the peaceful location and outlook across the olive grove. We rode our bikes around a few of the local wineries, some of which you could easily walk to from the cottage. The shower (over the claw foot bath) water pressure and temperature control was a little lacking but not sure that's anything you can change in an old building. Some of the linen is a bit tired and general upkeep like mowing the lawn or removing leaves from the front porch would make this a 5 star presentation/welcome.Otherwise this place had generally everything we needed and I would stay here again.
We appreciate it is a rustic building, but we were underwhelmed when we entered the lounge and the first thing we saw was a mouse trap protruding from the back of the couch. Unfortunately in the middle of the night the loud detector alarm went off repeatedly until we finally removed it. ( these things happen but it was unnerving). The bed was reasonably comfortable but bouncy. No milk provided. Unclean oven tray. Overpriced.
The positives were a great rural outlook, sunny aspect handy to golf and wineries. Good clean kitchen utensils.

nice place but lacked the small touches that a traveller expects for this price
My partner and I arrived late, with little lighting it took a while to check in.
The house was great but lacked basics you would expect for the money we oaid such milk in fridge, after a long drive its nice to have a cup if tea, not have to go out to shops and buy once youve arrived.
Same for toiletries, not even a bar of soap?
We then has to hunt for firewood as was freezing, we ended up finding in the shed - there was no way to contact the owner other than via the app which I couldn't see how to do. I would expect firewood available easy to access in a basket inside.
The small things that mean a lot are missed, making check in a pain.
Other than that a lovely stay." but prepare for basic accom.
Fire was ready to go, which was great as it was cold. Only thing couldn't find the 'wheelie bins' or council rubbish bags. Other than that it was great. Look forward to staying in the summer.
Lovely, quiet location with easy access. The cottage was equipped with all that we needed, was very private and our furries had a great time!
Definitely a recommendation for a quiet weekend away.
A very cute cottage with a lovely outlook towards olive trees. Easy to heat with a log burner and well equipped. This isn't a luxury stay but is clean and comfortable. Our dog was particularly happy!
We loved the location. Although a wee way out of town it was easy on our bikes and we all enjoyed the rural outlook. Really handy to vineyards - several were easy walking distance and right next door to the wonderful Olivio Olive Oil.
Well stocked with plates, towels etc. A most enjoyable stay.
Thanks

I really enjoyed our weekend here, it was well set up for dogs; fully fenced, far off the road and lots of space, we especially loved walking through the olive grove in front of the house. It is a very cute house, clean and warm and is everything as advertised. The location is in close proximity to Colombo vineyard and Alexander vineyard. Very keen to stay here again.
The property was well equipped and tidy, fantastic for our weekend stay. It was even better that we were able to have our puppy with us.
Had a little difficulty accessing keys in the lock box as there was a miscommunication on the pass code; 2 emails were received. Otherwise we were pretty happy there.
