This beach spot was perfect! Super easy access and the check-in process was quick and hassle-free. The place was very clean and well-maintained, which made the stay really comfortable. Plus, the location was incredibly convenient — close to everything we needed and just steps from the beach. Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Dunes Village Resort (managed by Elliott Beach Rentals) has been a complete nightmare. Instead of a relaxing vacation, we are counting down the days until checkout due to severe health, safety, and maintenance issues:1. Visible Black Mold: Heavy black mold covers the A/C vent directly above the kitchen sink, blowing active spores over where we prepare food and wash dishes.2. Fire Alarms & Unsafe Advice: Frequent false fire alarms terrified all the kids, including a special needs child who was left crying hysterically. When reported, support outrageously told us to manually unplug/disable the fire alarm ourselves!3. Plumbing Safety Hazard: Shower water pressure is extremely low and we cannot get cold water—only scalding hot water comes out, making safe showering impossible.4. Service Runaround: Management refuses to help. Dunes Village blames Elliott Beach Rentals, and Elliott blames Dunes Village maintenance. Neither party takes responsibility or fixes anything. Someone came after 1day, unfortunately our was 2 nights5. Loud Laundry & Weak Wi-Fi: The laundry area has no door, causing loud machine noise in the main living room, and the Wi-Fi is weak and completely unsecured.6. Water dripping from balcony

We sincerely apologize that your vacation did not meet your expectations and are sorry to hear about the concerns you experienced during your stay. Guest safety and comfort are extremely important to us, and we regret the frustration caused by the maintenance and communication issues you described. We understand how upsetting it must have been to experience repeated fire alarms, plumbing concerns, and other maintenance-related issues, especially while traveling with children. We also apologize for the inconvenience caused by the laundry noise, Wi-Fi, and the water dripping from the balcony. As Elliott Beach Rentals manages the rental of the condominium, while certain building systems and common areas are maintained by the resort's maintenance team, we understand that this distinction does not lessen the impact on your vacation. We regret that your concerns were not resolved as quickly as they should have been and apologize for the delay in response. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. Your comments have been shared with the appropriate departments and the property owner for review and follow-up. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope you will consider giving us another opportunity to provide you with the quality vacation experience we strive to deliver.
