Our 3rd time visiting this idyllic place, and although it’s been a few years it still didn’t fail to disappoint. We had relatives from Napier with us this time and they were absolutely blown away by the property and the garden. Thanks again and we look forward to our next visit.
Amazing, unique house in an absolutely stunning location! Very comfortable with incredibly thoughtful little touches. We were on a multi-generational family trip and both my boys and my elderly mum absolutely loved this place. We wished we could have stayed longer!
Fantastic stay at French Farm in Akaroa Harbour. Our accommodation was super comfortable, had everything we needed & more. Clean, spacious, great shower, amazing kitchen & gorgeous outdoor area & garden to enjoy the harbour view. There was just two of us but plenty of space for a larger group with lots of areas you can gather together or just find a quiet spot to relax. Clear instructions from our lovely host Danielle. We loved it.
OMG! What a wonderful house to stay in! If you want somewhere to unwind and relax look no further. It is such a comfy, quiet and well appointed house - it is beautiful. I’m already planning to return, but for a longer stay.Akaroa is a beautiful location and there is an amazing view around every corner. You will need to travel about 20 minutes via car into Akaroa itself but that means lots of lovely views and a house in a quite location. Thank you Danielle
Absolute treasure, sea views, beautiful spacious holiday home and tranquil garden. Loved our stay and will definitely be back. It is such a special place and our hosts are very generous sharing their slice of paradise.
The kitchen was fully equipped with generous extras for guest use.
There is a general store in nearby Duvauchelle and also in Akaroa, 20 minutes drive away.
