Our apartment is located in the heart of the village of Arc 1950 in the “Le Refuge du Montagnard” residence, a 5-star resort whose lobby was renovated in late 2020. You’ll enjoy a very welcoming and charming holiday spot with a reception desk open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can pick up your keys as soon as you arrive.

The apartment has just been carefully renovated and was awarded the PARADISKI 5-Crystal rating in October 2021! This renovation included the addition of a second bathroom, the installation of a second toilet in the main bathroom, the creation of a cosy, separate mountain-style nook with two bunk beds, the installation of new hardwood flooring in the bedrooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen with underfloor heating; the installation of new tile flooring in the entryway, bathrooms, and bathrooms; the installation of a new bar cabinet; the installation of a drop ceiling with new lighting; the installation of new spruce wood wall panelling; and the addition of new decor to create a cosy ski chalet atmosphere…

With a view of Mont Blanc and a large terrace, the apartment covers an area of 52 square metres and will therefore consist of one bedroom with twin beds that convert into a 180-cm-wide bed, a loft area with two bunk beds, two bathrooms, and two toilets (one of which is separate), a fully equipped kitchen, and a living/dining room with a sofa bed for two people, comfortably accommodating 4 to 6 guests.

Included in the rent are bed linens, hand and bath towels, dressing gowns (adults only), complimentary toiletries for the bathrooms and kitchen—including a tea towel provided upon arrival—as well as a full end-of-stay cleaning service. The apartment features Wi-Fi, a flat-screen cable TV with channels in multiple languages, and a fully equipped kitchen (including a refrigerator, hob, quartz combination microwave-grill oven, kettle, filter coffee maker, and Nespresso machine, along with everything else you’ll need).

The apartment is non-smoking, and we’re sorry—pets are not allowed.

The apartment comes with a ski locker in a heated room, dedicated to storing your boots, skis/snowboards, sleighs, helmets, etc., during your stay.
You can put on your skis and head straight to the slopes from the ski locker… no need to carry any equipment! Getting back to the resort couldn’t be easier—just ski right through the village from the slopes to the door of your ski locker!

Located in the Le Refuge du Montagnard residence. You’ll enjoy its recently renovated wellness area, featuring a sauna, steam room, and outdoor hot tub—perfect for unwinding after an active day—as well as access to a heated indoor and outdoor pool at the nearby “Prince des Cimes” residence, all at no extra charge

A shared laundry room is available in the residence, as well as a secure underground car park (at a cost of 44€/week in summer and 98 euros in winter, payable to the parking company).

The ski school meeting points are located right across from the residence’s main entrance, and the registration offices are just a few minutes’ walk from the village’s main square. Everything you need (bars, restaurants, shops, a supermarket, a bakery, ski and mountain gear rentals, mountain bike rentals, ski schools—Spirit 1950 and ESF being the main ones—lift tickets, etc.) is right nearby. The village also features a magnificent Deep Nature Spa (for a fee) for those who wish to relax and be pampered.

Arc 1950 is connected to Arc 2000 by a very short ride (just a few minutes) on the Cabriolet lift, offering a wider selection of shops, bars, restaurants, a 10-pin bowling alley, and other activities. You also have access to a free shuttle that takes you to Arc 1800 and Arc 1600. From Arc 1600, a funicular takes you down to the Bourg-Saint-Maurice valley.
Arc 1950 is a completely pedestrian-only village, making it very safe for families. If you have young children, you can take advantage of a daycare centre located very close to the apartment. A full programme of free activities is also offered in the village throughout the summer and winter seasons to entertain people of all ages. At the Cariboo’s Club daycare, numerous activities are available, and children can have fun and explore the mountains safely in the summer.
