TWO BED APARTMENT IN ARCS 1800 - SKI IN / SKI OUT SLEEPS UP TO SEVEN
Our recently refurbished privately owned two bedroom apartment (in L'Archeboc) in the quiet village of Charmetogger is set over two floors in a magnificent location in Arcs 1800. Ideally located for winter ski or summer mountain holidays - only 150m from the high capacity Transarc Express lift which takes you to all of the Arcs and La Plagne (via the Vanoise express). Ski on glaciers, explore extensive off-piste, cruise the 425km piste area through tree lined valleys and dramatic high mountains. There is an amazing recently built swimming and gym complex (La Piscine) for the Arcs 1800 resort with indoor / outdoor pool and gym which is a ten minute walk from the apartment. There is a a gorgeous bakery and deli just 5 minutes walk away. Supermarkets, bowling alley and restaurants are a 10 minute walk away in Villards. We have refurbished the apartment with new flooring/lino, hob, two fridges and a wall mounted Smart TV with DVD. There is excellent free WIFI. Great selection of games for all the family. We do not however provide bed linen or cleaning at the end as part of the rental. There are two options 1) Guests can bring their own bed linen - sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers, and fully clean the apartment at the end of their stay ready for the next guests. 2) We can arrange for both bed linen and cleaning at the end of stay to be provided. Costs are 30 euros per bed, 10 euros per towel, and cleaning 80 euros.

This apartment is the pride and joy of our family, but we have letting it out successfully now for 10 years to people all round the world.
I live in England but fell in love with Les Arcs many years ago. I always spend time there myself in the winter and summer.

Why they chose this property
Les Arcs has an excellent record for snow and having Aiguille Rouge at such a high point (3227 metres) there is always snow for good skiing from December right through to the end of April. Les Arcs has ski runs for all abilities and makes it a perfect skiing location.
Our apartment is situated in the quiet village of Charmettoger - and is one of the closet apartments in the whole Arc 1800 resort to the Transarc Gondola which opens up all of ski area of Les Arcs and La Plagne (via the Vanoise Express).
Arcs 1800 is very close to the large town of Bourg Saint Maurice which boasts a mainline train station and a mountain train - the Funiculaire - which takes you to Arcs 1600. Courtesy (free) buses will then take you to Arcs 1800 and there is a bus stop right outside of our apartment.
Bourg Saint Maurice town has many supermarkets for stocking up economically - LIDL, Super U and Intermarche and cheap petrol/diesel.

Our property uniquely has two double beds and a single bed upstairs floor and has a downstairs sofa bed that sleeps two, so can accommodate up to seven people (but do note it is very cozy with 6/7 people).
The apartment has free WIFI and we have a decent size SMART TV (with DVD player) so you can gain access to Netflix and other TV apps. We have a good selection of DVDs, games, books and jigsaws.
We want anybody who uses our apartment to feel "looked after" and we have engaged a local french key holder who speaks good English who can support you during your stay - especially in the case of any emergencies.
