On the beach of Lake Michigan, this 2 bedroom "Cottage", with full bathroom, is the escape you're looking for. The sounds of the shore and view of the lake are just what you need.

This property is located on the shore of Lake Michigan.
It's just minutes away from shopping, dining, Blue Chip Casino and much more!

You will be provided with a unique code for the front door key box, that is valid during your stay. You will have the entire left side of the duplex to yourself. Please, do not try to access the other side through adjoining door or enter the basement. There is a deck that you can enjoy. Be mindful, the deck is a shared space with the other unit. If you use the grill, you will need to scrape the grates when finished.

On the beach of Lake Michigan, this 2 bedroom "Cottage", with full bathroom, is the escape you're looking for. The sounds of the shore and view of the lake are just what you need.
Upon entering, to the right, you're greeted by a large, welcoming living space. Beyond that are a dining area and kitchen. The big 3 seasons porch has potential extra sleeping, weather permitting. The bedrooms and bathroom are to the left side of the property.
Although, you'll probably want to spend most of your time out of doors, there are games and books and cozy seating for the evening or a rainy day.

The property is approximately 3 miles from the New South Shore train station.

There is limited Uber and Lyft service for the area.

You must be 24 years of age or older to rent this Property. Prior to your stay, we require you to complete a pre-arrival form and sign and agree to our rental conditions.

The whole house was wonderfully clean and the view from the back patio is unmatched! The sunroom is the perfect place to sit and read in the evenings after a day in the sun. Plenty of cute restaurants around but the kitchen was pretty well stocked for any in-house cooking too. The bathroom could use a little updating between a slightly moldy window and some cracked floor tiles, but nothing big enough that made a negative impact on our stay. Absolutely loved the cottage feel.

Loved the proximity to different attractions and having a beachfront view/access; this was the best aspect of the rental. We also appreciated that beach chairs were provided. The house itself was okay, not quite as nice as the pictures portrayed. For example, the wallpaper in both the bathroom and kitchen were peeling in spots, as well as a few other small details, and the house had a less than pleasant odor when we arrived. We ended up purchasing a couple of cheap air fresheners to resolve the smell. Overall these were small details and were not detrimental to our stay. The wicker furniture was not comfortable though, especially the rockers and chairs. With a few upgrades and a little more attention to details it definitely has potential for a 5 star review.

The beach was the best part of this rental property. The inside is in rough shape. The indoor living room furniture is uncomfortable and there was mold in the shower. A bunch of the dishes we went to use were dirty when we got them out of the cabinets. The front and back decks of the house are in rough shape. The paint is peeling and big splinters sticking up in the back. For over 500 a night this place is in dire need up updates and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here.

Best feature is the location, right on the lake with a beautiful view and an easy sand path to the beach. Well equipped with beach towels, chairs, and toys. The inside, as we expected from the photos, is dated (and no dishwasher!) but we were fine with that. HOWEVER, the property has not been well maintained for guests. Not only quick fixes like dead light bulbs and TV remotes but also broken lights and window shades, dead electrical outlets, loose bathroom tiles that came off in shards on my toddler's foot, gross looking shower (as another reviewer mentioned), and so on. The property manager was fast to respond to messages but I certainly didn't want to spend my vacation dealing with all those issues! Would not stay again.
