Very good

The house was beautiful, and the beds were very clean and comfortable. Everything was nicely organized and well maintained. However, the only problem was the bathrooms. They did not have doors, there was a weird smell, and the toilets did not flush properly. Also, one of the showers was clogged, so the water would not drain while bathing.
Love the stay and the location was great benefit to downtown and Pinellas County commute.

Advertised as a locked apartment with a keypad, but the keypad did not work. We had to carry the home key everywhere we went. Quiet space. Only issue was no bedroom/bathroom doors in the master bedroom. I felt unsafe at night, especially on the first night without a door. AC is attached to the other unit, and so we would come back with it being set on 75 degrees.
Property was clean and furnishings were nice. Different floor levels inside made for some tripping hazards. More for a couple or a small close family, not rooms and bathrooms have doors only curtains. Host was very nice and accommodating.
Pro's: location is convenient; host is VERY responsive; screened back patio and fenced yard for pets. LOTS of dishes, cookware, etc. Big fridge & every room has big TV & wifi is blazing fast!Con's: description says smoke & CO detectors; neither are present (wall mounts are empty). The second bath is just a shower & sink. The toilet is a urinal since owner PROHIBITS flushing toilet paper & if it clogs, you owe 300. No doors even on main bathroom, just hinges. Curtain on main window is thin and folks outside can see through it at night with lights on.Overall, glad it was just my wife and I. With an unusable toilet in 2nd bath, it would have been a problem for another couple walking through the bedroom to use a bathroom with no door at night.

Cute but could use some work
House was super cute but there are no doors on either bathroom and no curtain on bathroom window, just a washer and dryer partially covering it. The toilet in that bathroom was also very weird and the shower was small. Appliances were very nice and the set up is cute, just needs doors for bathrooms and maybe later checkout times. 10am is a bit early. Overall it was a good stay!

This VRBO is a converted garage attached to a house. The floors hadn't been mopped in weeks! There were no clocks except stove/microwave.I believe in live and let live, but we always knew when the people who lived in the house came home, because all you could smell was marijuana. VERY STRONG odor. Yet there is a no smoking rule for the VRBO. People who lived in the house walked directly in front of our window so keep your curtains closed. Batteries in TV and fan remotes were dead. Doormat is growing grass as it hasnt been cleaned in so long, and the windows were very dirty. If its an overnight stay you're good, but we stayed for a week.
Good location. A lot of very strange things about the house though, here are some examples. Bedroom 1 Has no door, but a plastic curtain. Bedroom 2 Has a door but cannot be closed because it hits the bed. Bathroom 1 (Located in bedroom 1) Has no door. Bathroom 2 (Located in bedroom 2) Has no door, but a plastic curtain. 50% of the house was once a garage that has now been converted to living space. Due to the conversion bedroom 1 Has an interior window that looks right into bathroom 2. Bathroom 2 has an external window with no curtain or blind and look straight into the backyard. Bedroom 2 Has no power outlets near the bed. There is a lamp next to the bed, but does not work because there’s nowhere to plug it in. The living room couch is very uncomfortable. Very cheap/flimsy The house is advertised as pet friendly, but the fence is only knee high. Overall not a bad place to stay with a good location but in my opinion, most if not all of the above should’ve been addressed before ever being offered as a rental.
