The Cottage at James House was perfect for our needs! Up to this point we have always stayed inside the Truman Annex. This location was perfect being just off of Duval Street and close to the Key West Marina. We enjoyed the extra space that the cottage gave us as compared to a hotel room. The covered sitting area in the private space outside was perfect for morning coffee and conversation.

Woke up on our second night with a few small bites, on our last night I was covered, having an allergic reaction to them. After flipping the sheets bed bugs were found. Attempted to contact the host to correct the issue and was unresponsive.

Cute place, close to Duvall

This cottage is just as pictured, really cute. It could use more storage in the bathroom, there is no counter space and nowhere to put shampoo in the shower. Also the tv is internet, no cable. The music from Duvall at night and trash trucks and street cleaning in the morning can be loud, but the AC blocks most of it.The host was very responsive and helpful on txt, and we had onsite off street parking which was great.We mostly loved this place and would be very happy to return
